Summary: This is exactly what I was hoping for and this model has become rare. It is wonderful in quality and size of screen, Thank you for having a vendor who carried it. I wish things did not get developed beyond the good stage into a more "modernized" model...antiquating the earlier one. This model is superior.
Summary: It's easy to operate and plays great. It's light enough to take with me on long rides so that I can watch movies and TV shows to pass the time. Minor problem though, the charge runs out in less than 5 hours.
Summary: I purchased this DVD player for one reason, to keep myself entertained on frequent cross-country flights. It serves the purpose well, and for a much lower cost than an I-Pad. My only complaint, and it's minor, is the control functionality is not the best, often requiring numerous steps instead of one. But, overall it serves its purpose well.
Summary: I love this dvd player, i use it instead of my dvd player on the TV, the image looks way better then my TV, colors are amazing ! owned if for over a year, not problems. Sorry if my review isn't that great. I would recommend it to a friend ~!
Summary: I purhcased this DVD player for my daugther to watch her DVD's. I can make this a long story but I won't, basically, it doesn't work....at all. I tried every different type of dvd format and still..nothing! So I went to Target, bought a RCA player despite being a Sony customer and guess what...it works! and was $10 cheaper. Read the reviews...I did and I ignored them bc I though to myself..it's a sony. Save your time with this product and just simply DO NOT BUY..
Summary: Small and light. The swivel screen is very nice--it can be laid flat (like the old Windows Tablet PC's). I bought it mostly as a cheap way to play digitized movies using a USB drive. Simply re-encode your movies to MP4 ('simple' profile) and slap them on your thumb-drive. Freemake Video Converter can be downloaded freely and will do this (the standard MP4 setting seems to work fine) quite easily.
Summary: I picked this up for the sole purpose of being able to stream movies from a USB device, which it's supposed to support. I get home and read through the manual only to discover that it only supports .mp4 format. This is not a major problem since I can convert other formats, but for the non-technical person this may be an issue for you. Where I really started having problems is when I plugged in my USB stick. I powered up the unit and got....nothing.
