Summary: I have had this for about a month and so far, I only have a few complaints. I think it's basically a good product. I'm disappointed in a couple of things. One, is that the remote doesn't light up so when it's dark I can't see any of the buttons. Also, if I adjust the screen to full screen and hit pause or stop, it automatically goes back to the small screen and I have to readjust it. This is frustrating when watching a DVD and having to pause for phone or bathroom, etc.
Summary: I bought this unit for my 83 year old Mom. The unit is easy to operate and very intuitive which was important for her to be able to use it. While a 9" screen isn't huge it is one of the biggest available in the portable DVD Market. It has a very nice clear picture and the ability to swivel the display is a really nice feature. The sound isn't great but its not bad given the size of the unit. I think the unit works best with a pair of headphones.
Summary: This product is a life saver for very long flights. It has the longest battery life we could find, is pretty light and very easy to use. One thing to watch out for: the sound on our original purchase stopped working after about 2 months of heavy use. We purchased a second device and are waiting to see if we encounter the same problem.
Great Player - Read for an in-car mounting solution that works!

Summary: We all know this is a fantastic DVD player, but with one glaring omission...no included car mounting kit. After searching the interweb, I have found a product that offers a fantastic mounting solution. It is made by a company called PeriPower and they offer a kit with a headrest mount and an X-shaped bracket that the DVP-FX930 attaches to. The company is based in China (of course) but they have an office in Canada and that is where it is shipped from.
Summary: The picture is good. The sound is not bad, but it is a portable DVD. You don't need headphones to be able to hear it in a moving car. It is relatively easy to use for adults and the kids find it easy to use as well. Definitely, get a carrying-case that can strap to a seatback or between seatbacks. It is worth the money.
Summary: The unit seems well constructed. They could dispense with the speakers as they sound horrible, but the presence of two audio jacks is nice. Placing the controls at the bottom of the screen is a good idea. The unit end up being quite bulky and thick with the battery attached, though. Overall, it plays well.
Summary: This is a great portable DVD player. The pink model was nice (it was cheaper than the other colors) and I like the fact that the battery covered the bottom of the player and did not stick out in the back. The top of the machine was plastic, fairly light (in weight). The previous model was heavier and had a textured top that felt solid. The display screen does swivel 180 degrees, but doesn't hold very well at any other position in between 0-180.
