Summary: I bought a SONY portable DVD player similar to this one approximately 4 years ago for my grandson. Believe me, it was used a lot and also dropped a few times along the way. I did buy a hard case for it, which I would certainly recommend, and I feel this absolutely helped with keeping it in good working condition for a longer period of time. So far, so good, on this one, but time will tell.

Summary: I bought this for my grand daughter as a birthday gift. She didn't have a DVD player and need it to watch DVD's wherever she was like in the kitchen fixing meals or whatever. The screen is very clear and gives great HD quality pictures. Works as a CD/mp3 player also. So it is a great little portable media device with good volume and 2 head phone jacks Highly recommend it to anyone who has a need for this kind of device.
Summary: I bought this item for my mother, who is visually impaired and enjoys her audio books on CD. She had had a Sony player before and had worn it out, using it 24/7 for nearly a year, no exaggeration. This model, when it arrived, turned out to have a longer power cord, which was terrific for her circumstances as well. However, it turns out that it won't play many of the CDs she has.
Summary: This unit works great and was put to good use during a recent long road trip. We replaced a much older portable DVD player that did not have a rechargeable battery. It is so much nicer not to have to plug this in while watching a movie. Works great, no issues whatsoever.
Summary: I've had this for a few months and the toddler hasn't torn it up yet! It has two holes for two separate headphone sets, and a hold button to keep the baby from hitting buttons and stopping the movie, when he insist on holding the dvd player. I hate that it doesn't come with some form of case or holder, because there's no way to hang or sit it where both kids can see. The screen is very small too.
