Excerpt: My daughter received this DVD system for our car for her birthday to help with our long car trips. We were very excited about using it and relaxing during these drives. This DVD player only lasted 7 months. She was only a year old, and never touched the player, which was up front where we could control it. Her screen was attached to the back of the passenger side seat.
No more whining on car trips with the Polaroid dvd player!

Excerpt: We bought the Polaroid DVD player to entertain our 4 children on long car rides (we drive 800 miles one-way to visit family a few times a year). I love that it has two screens! Now the 2 kids in the back row have their own monitor and aren't straining to see over the kids in the middle. (We run the connecting cord under the floor mat and seat so the kids are tripping over it getting in and out.) It is easy to hook up.
Summary: We bought this for a 3 day road trip. By the time we got to our destination, the sound and picture on one of the dvds were distorted. I took it back to Target and got another one of the same dvd players - thinking it was a fluke! Boy was I wrong. Within in a month (and we didn't use it very often), the sound on one of the dvd players was completely out..... within another month, the picture on that same player was going fuzzy and without color.
Summary: i buy this some time ago on a store. It work ok at first but then every time the car skip the dvd does too. and its start over and over again its awfull!!!. On a long trip ist mad to keep hearing the same part of the movie again and again and again and again. My little girls get so frustrated and me too, and because they are little girls they don't want me to fswrd the movie so eventually they get bore.
Don't Buy This Product or Anything from Turn To Start

Summary: When we received this product as a Christmas gift for our 2 daughters, we thought it was going to be a great thing. When we opened the box, the product did not work. The screen on the main unit was half black and half white, and the picture on the screen rolled. The extra screen did work, but the main unit began to smoke.
Summary: The main player continues to go strong after almost one year, but we've only used it about once a month. As for the additional screen, it hasn't worked for quite some time. It gave up the ghost some time back, and has been the source of contention between our kids because none of them wants to sit on the side that doesn't have a screen (I guess I could just move the driver's seat to the middle).
Summary: This is the worst piece of electronics that I have ever purchased. We used it for the first time on a road trip and it kept turning off. We had to use duct tape to keep the plug in place and even with that it would randomly turn off. The straps used to attach to headrests are cumbersome and difficult to adjust. Prior to this dvd player, we had a no-name brand that worked for 5 years without a problem. Finally the battery gave out and the model is discontinued.
Summary: I will never buy a Polaroid product again. I bought this dual screen portable DVD player so that my 2 children could watch movies in the car. I had it for a month and just like others have said it would be working fine and then it would cut off and restart. I called customer service because it was under warrenty and they told me to try several different things which I did and it still would not work. So I sent it back for an exchange.
