Summary: This is a good lil' DTV. Always wanted a portable TV and this is also a portable DTV/DVD. Like most digital TVs it has to be programmed to get its channel lineup. You can't just turn it on and dial up your channel. But once it's programmed it has great reception.
Summary: Great value for the dollar. Sam's sells it for under $100. I bought it mainly for the DC operation. I can connect it to a 12v battery in the event of a power outage. In Pensacola, FL we worry about hurricanes and the concomitant power outages.
Summary: I've been using this combination TV/DVD player in my second vehicle, a camper van, for over a month now. Works great! DVD movies play well with no problem. Only wish it could play Blueray disks, but unfortunately doesn't. That's why I also have a separate Sony Blueray DVD player from Best Buy.

Summary: I bought this because a few reviews and the product write up (or previous write up) suggested that I'd be able to view foreign DVDs on it. We cannot. We have tried to watch DVDs from Germany on this machine. But that does not work. That's a terrible shame.
