Summary: this thing is so cool...ive been seeing portable dvd players for a long time but never really thought they were worth it...you never really know how handy it is until you actually buy it....the biggest thing for me being i dont have to pull out the laptop just for a dvd anymore..
Summary: Bought this to take to the gym while I do cardio. Has a great feature too: turn it off and it resumes playing where you left off next time you power it up! Works great, battery lasts for a long time. BTW: the trick to ANY battery is to not completely discharge and to not to leave on the charger any longer than needed to recharge.

Summary: I purchased this item to use in my basement, which happens to be my workout area. I am also currently on a budget, and for roughly $60 this is a great item! I use it to play a variety of DVD's like the P90X series of workouts, Tae-Bo, etc. It's a great player with ample sound and decent video quality. It also seems to hold a pretty good charge on the battery. I have never used it in the car or on any travel so I cannot speak to that.
Summary: I bought these for myself and my mother to use to watch courses from the Learning Company and for that purpose they work just great. There is a model that also has digital TV included and had I known of that before buying this would likely have gone that route. I also have a piano course that includes a CD and this lets me take it to the piano and listen to the CD (which shows me how a piece of music should sound if playing properly) and works great for that purpose.
Summary: I purchased this product for my kid. He is just 3+. He is handling this player for almost a year and still its working without any issues. I am really happy about this product and worth the money I paid.
