Unsatisfied

Man of Valor, Amazon
13 February 2012
  • Summary: I was overall very unsatisfied with this product. It does not restart the movie where you last left it after shutting down the machine. The battery life barely lasts through one movie, and the product is big and bulky. Lastly, the volume is not that loud. On a crowded plane, train, and bus it was very difficult for me to hear. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Trust your gut and don't buy refurbished items like this

Amy Lee, Amazon
20 April 2010
  • Summary: I originally was not going to buy this product because it was refurbished. My husband convinced me it had so many more features than the one I picked out so I went ahead and ordered it. When it arrived I was so excited because I've been wanting something to play my 2 year old daughters DVD's in the car, not to mention it would be nice to use in the guest room when people visit.

slightly disappointed.....

Nicole M. Workman "Nicole", Amazon
8 February 2010
  • Summary: This product overall is pretty good, although, when I was looking at it initially I had chosen a "dual" screen of the exact same variety. Then got to the page where it allows you to chose a refurbished one at a discounted price I went for it. Well i recieved it and it ISN'T a dual screen. So to pay $130 for one screen and have it not be new.....I definitely think I could have done better. They should offer a refurbished item only if it's exactly the same.

No Disk Resume

P. A. Stewart "Spamiclese", Amazon
28 May 2008
  • Summary: In general this seems like the perfect portable DVD player. It has a great screen and it looks like a laptop (very sleek). However, it is missing the ONLY feature I look for on a portable DVD player. It does not have disk resume. This means that if you pause a movie and walk away for more than five minutes you have to start the movie from the beginning and fast forward through the chapters to find the place you were at.

why I returned this item

J. Zarris, Amazon
24 September 2007
  • Summary: This DVD player has a great picture and sound, but beware one little feature you cannot turn off. Every time there is a new DVD chapter, an icon appears in the top left hand corner of the screen with a director's slate and the chapter number for about 5 seconds....VERY annoying!! The movie is playing along nicely, you're enjoying yourself and this icon keeps popping up every few minutes.
