Summary: My only regrets is that the top did not swivel around to close it and make it more compact when using. Be careful who you purchase the product from. Mine came from an Amazon provider and the first player I received did not work and I had to return it for another player. They did reimburse me for the return shipping but they sent me a refurbished player and tried to claim it was another new player. I can't blame the DVD player on that. The player works fine.
Summary: Very pleased with player. Battery lasts over 5 hours and can charge while playing. Has good screen, volume, ease of use and even remote. Minus one star because open/close feature for disk a little flimsy and sometimes buttons hard to control and no manual. Just visual instruction on box panel. Overall good value for price.
Summary: I chose this unit for the combination of price, features and screen size (don't buy anything smaller in screen size than this!). The unit is easy to use, great picture, and excellent battery life. Only (minor) complaint is that the volume doesn't go quite as high as you might like .. no issues when you're watching someplace quiet, though it is an issue in a car rolling along at highway speeds. However, you wouldn't want this thing overpowering the background noise ..
Summary: We like our DVD player. We have taken it camping. It's great that it works on DVD-R and CD-R too. I was able to view our home videos on it. Plugged in a thumb drive with photos and viewed them on it. The volume is a bit on the low side even when turned up all the way. Don't have anything really negative to say especially at such a reasonable price.
Summary: LA Closeout Warehouse made good on this defective product within two days with a new DVD Player. In addition to great personal service, the owner covered the cost of returning the product with a gift. The owner inspected the returned product, agreed that it was defective and apologized for the inconvenience.
Great Unit but did not get the remote that was suppose to come with it.

Summary: OK, I am super happy with this unit, it's exactly the size I wanted, it's simple to use, it has a memory that reloads where you left off. You don't even need to read the instructions . . . until you try to hook it up to your TV. That's when I realized that it was missing the remote. I sent the supplier an e-mail with no reply . . . just sent them another. Too bad.
Summary: I've given up trying to get DVDs to play on a tablet either by streaming from a PC or by plugging in a portable drive with an AV mode. This isn't a bad compromise -- the screen is very low resolution compared to a tablet but is okay for the source material, sound is clear and it's easy to make region free (see other reviews here; it's basically opening the tray and typing 9653 to get to a service mode before selecting what you want.
