Summary: Our installed DVD player broke and buying a portable DVD player was much cheaper and faster than getting the other one repaired or replaced. This gets the job done. It's annoying with all the wires after not having to deal with that. And having to adjust the sound on each unit separately and having the sound right behind the driver's and passenger's heads isn't ideal (my kids are too young for headphones or to adjust the sound themselves).
Summary: I am happy with this product, nice things which I like is the video will start from where it is lift before and another thing is when I starts and off my car the video player also ON/OFF because it doesn't have batteries so my kids don't get chance to fiddle with video player ON/OFF switch
Summary: The sound and picture on these sets are great. I have to tell my son to turn it down compared to our last dvd he could not hear. The only problem is my 7yo has a hard time changing the dvd because the latch is on top. That is the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise very good deal.
Summary: I ordered these for a 10 hour car trip. My kids loved watching the movies and I was glad to have gotten a dual player becase my kids are 4 and 11 and prefer different movies. My only issue was the strap around the headrest is not stretchy and so it would tend to slip down the headrest and sit at a funny angle. My headrests in my Honda Element are not straight so maybe that was more the problem.
Summary: I waited a long time before getting a new dvd player for the car and trips. I say AND trips, because ideally we wanted something that would work on planes and in hotel rooms as well. This one works in two of those three scenarios - since there's no battery it requires being actively plugged into a power source. Works great in the car as well as where there's access to normal power (e.g. a hotel room), but of course will not function at all without a power source (e.g.
Summary: We purchased an extension cable "RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter Plug" that enabled us to hide the cables. This was the only DVD player that my son could plug in his video game "plug and play" style video games. We really only needed one DVD player, but for the quality of the product, it was cheaper to buy the dual set instead of a single. Overall very happy with this product.
Summary: I purchaced this dvd player to replace an old one that finally quit. My family and I just returned from a trip to Myrtle Beach. We were in the truck for around 15 hours so it tested the product out very well. The first thing that I found out is I have a Ford Expedition. The head rests are angled and not flat. This caused a problem with the screens angling up instead of flat. I had to take some of the bubble wrap and wedge it behind the screen to make the angle right.
Summary: i got this for my 2 small children. im am very happy with it so far except that it doesnt actually charge. it has to be plugged in which is a problem in my husbands car as it doesnt have anywhere to plug the charger in. i wish they would have put that it doesnt charge right here on the page but they neglected to do so. i wish i could return it for one that you can charge at home and take with you.
It gets the job done on those long trips in the van

Summary: We were looking for a replacement for our portable DVD players in the van before taking a long trip and we didn't want to break the bank in doing it. This unit fit the bill nicely. A great price for a dual DVD system as well. Easy to attach to the headrests with a couple of straps, easy to use controls so that the kids can change movies on their own, headphone jack so we don't have to listen to competing content from behind our heads...
