Summary: I loved having the two screens so I could put the thinner screen with fewer controls in front of my son and keep the larger, dvd-holding screen in the front seat where I could control the volume and change movies when I wanted. Until one day when we were on a road-trip and the player just stopped working. It didn't get dropped or damaged, it just literally stopped playing mid-scene and hasn't worked since.
Summary: I gave the Phillips 7 inch LCD Dual Screen DVD Player to my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. I mounted the auxilliary screen to the back of the headrest in front of the car seat per the instructions. My daughter had the main player in the front passenger seat so she could change DVDs etc. After 3 weeks of use it no longer would read the DVD. I have cleaned the DVDs and have tried several DVDs and the unit just says "Reading...." until it turns itself off.
Summary: We have purchased two of these sets now...The first set was great for about a year. After that, the second screen stopped working. Ironically, the second screen is the one that was used sporadically. So we purchased another set thinking we just had a lemon and the second screen of that set broke after only 3 months. Never again! You are better off purchasing tablets for the back of the seat.

Summary: The player is very good. Unfortunately they only last about one year. I have had 4 sets of these and they all lasted only one year. Too Many moving parts. We switched to tablets for our children and saved all our movies to electronic mp4 files to play on those. If you do buy one, make sure you get a 2 yr warranty because it won't last the 2 years.
Summary: I bought this product for my daughter's birthday and 2 months later, one of the screens volume doesn't work (no sound) and the other one just falls open. They can be just sitting in the car and fall open. I would save yourself the hassle and buy something else. Very displeased!
Summary: We have used these on 6 different 15 hour trips to Florida. The set up was fine and easy and I followed the manual to a 'T'. The first trip, we had no problems. Every other trip, the second screen works for about 1 hour, then nothing but a black screen and no sound. If I turn it off and let it completely coold down, it may work for another 15-30 minutes. I am not happy about spending about $100 on 1 DVD player when I paid for 2 to work.
Summary: My husband and I ordered these for our kids for when we travel or go on day trips. We ordered this product in July, but didnt recieve it until close to August. About the middle of the month of August, we noticed that the players would come on and then cut out. Now they dont even come on AT ALL! Before purchasing these, I read the reviews and the reviews is what sold me on on buying these portable DVDs ( because this product didnt have very many bad reviews ).
