The Philips DCP850/37 is a top-loading portable DVD player that features an iPod dock. It measures 8.3 x 1.5 x 7.0 inches (W x H x D) and weighs approximately 2.4 pounds. The player features an 8.5-inch TFT active matrix color LCD display with an image aspect ratio of 16:9.

The portable DVD player is powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that is charged by an external power adapter that comes with the player’s standard package. It also comes with an infrared remote control for easy playback at a distance.

The portable DVD player supports a wide variety of media types. These include DVD+R, CD, Video CD, CD-RW, DVD-RW, SVCD, CD-R, DVD+RW, DVD, and DVD-R. It also supports MPEG-4 and DivX digital video standards as well as MP3 digital audio standards. The player is also capable of digital photo and MPEG4 playback from flash memory cards.

Among the DCP850/37’s playback features are 5 search speeds (32x, 8x, 4x, 2x, and 16x) and picture zoom from 1/4x to 4x.

The Philips DCP850/37 is equipped with a Dolby Digital audio system that features 2 integrated 300mW stereo speakers that has a response bandwidth of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. It has a dynamic range of 80 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) of 85 dB.

The player has different types of terminals including 2 Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm headphone jacks, 1 composite AV input, 1 iPod dock, and 1 composite AV output. It also has a slot for SD memory cards.
