Summary: (GPGP)= Great product great price. This player is the best DVD player I have ever owned. Being a cheapy I rarely spend a lot on electronics. Typically I have a mediocre product, but this was surprisingly high quality for such a low price.
Summary: Wonderful little dvd player. I purchased this to replace a Sony home theater system that gave up the ghost after just a year and a half-wouldn't read dvds anymore and was always complicated to use. This unit is so slim, it practically disappears, I set it up in about 2 minutes, and the controls are intuitive. It nicely cleans up the video on my classic Upstairs/Downstairs dvds and new HD videos look great. Almost best of all, it was cheap[...
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, High Quality Picture
Summary: I would have rated this product excellent, except it lacks a track selection indicator. This may not be a big deal; you can jump tracks using the remote, though I've not yet tried that manuever. Price, sound, picture, all great. You need an adapter to play both CD and DVD because there's one audio out. This is common. HH Gregg has them for a few bucks. I purchased two other dvd players in the past year and sent or took them back, waiting patiently for a better model.
Summary: this player has hiccups on dvd-r. dvd+r and some prerorded dvds. it's an out of control industry, wheras the quality of the blank media is questionable. this particular player hiccups at every chapter, which is approximately every 8 minutes. I have not returned it because everytime you purchase one of these items, you are taking a chance on the quality. Every player has different characteristics in lieu of the blank media you are using.
