    It has a 8.5 inch screen. The screen is very bright and I have not had any problems with it. It shows up very well even when outdoors. I have used others that don’t show as well when in bright areas but I have not noticed that issue with this screen. The screen is adjustable which is a good benefit. It moves back and forth without much effort which is wonderful. Some of the accessories that were include were the battery, charger and a car adapter. Read more

    This product arrived well packaged. My Job requires periodic travels(flight), the flight lay-overs are utilized. I do appreciate the long battery life. Even at 25-30,000 feet, the unit's volume when attached to earphones easily drowns out aircraft noise. It has kept me company in hotel rooms and airports. It is a sturdy unit. The long battery life is a very big plus in my book. The screen size is more than adequate. Read more

    I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter for when we travel (which is multiple times a year to and from the east coast). We haven't used it yet on the plane but already multiple times at home. My daughter thinks its the best thing in the world and will just sit and watch her movies without a problem! I've only had to charge the battery twice and we've used it for over a week at least 4-5 hours a day! Great quality especially for the price. Read more

    I bought a LS-86 DVD/CD (serial # VP8CA004499)three years ago for my one-year-old granddaughter to use during car trips, and she is still using it! We live in Maine and took it to Story Land in NH with us for the 5 hour car trip, and it's a wonderful piece of equipment. I'm now on line looking to purchase another for her two-year-old sister. Just thought I'd encourage anyone looking for a portable DVD player to choose this one. Read more

    The main reason I bought the Panasonic DVD player is its multi-format capability. We can play back programs recorded on our DVD recorder, as well as standard movie DVD's. We can catch up on our tv shows while running on our treadmill (we put a shelf for it on the treadmill control panel bar), or anywhere. The picture quality and sound are fine. I do wish the audio volume could be turned higher, but headphones help. Read more

    One Call Thanks again for your excellent service. Our business relationship is in good standing. However I was very disappointed with Panasonic for not supplying a remote with the LS86. Five years ago I bought the LV 75 which had a remote. I'm handicap and a remote comes in handy. Read more

    I purchased this based on good reviews from CNET. Only faults are the battery life claimed by Panasonic is lower than actual; and picture is too dim, especially dark scenes when used outside, i.e., in a car. Read more

    Panasonic DVD-LS86 8.5-Inch Portable DVD Player 3 I bought this unit's previous model sometime in 2007 and it was my favorite gadget. Even though I had a video ipod and laptop to play movies when I traveled, I still carried this single purpose device. It also became an important tool for my distant MBA program where DVDs were delivered weekly. A few weeks ago I put my old one on the ironing board, it fell and broke. Made me sick to see it die like that. Read more

Panasonic DVD-LS86 is an 8.5” portable DVD player. It is portable and lightweight, allowing user to enjoy watching movies, listening to music and view photos while on-the-go or even at home or office. Among of its main features include up to 13 hours long playback with integrated rechargeable battery, iPod input, built-in speakers and dual headphone output.

The DVD-LS86 is built with an 8.5” widescreen LCD display that offers large viewing area. Besides that, it features freestyle viewing as the screen can be tilted to a vast array of positions for viewing. It also provides an iPod input that lets user to connect the player to an iPod to play files stored in it. It offers long playback up to 13 hours. It lets user to enjoy DivX, JPEG and MP3 content on the unit. This unit is compatible for playback of DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, SVCD, CD and CD-R/RW. Moreover, it is built with side mounted built-in stereo speakers contained discretely within the unit. It also features Anti-Skip Protection allowing user to enjoy watching movies smoothly and not missing any scene. Furthermore, it features Multi Re-Master which supports Dolby Digital and DTS. For audio, it is built-in with Dolby Digital and DTS Audio decoders that make the player enables to deliver high quality audio production.
