Summary: We have had this player for over a year and it's still going great. We have used it on around 10 different trips out of town and for movies in the kids room from time to time. One note, Panasonic QA kind of took a break on the AV-Out plug in the player as it appears to be dead but it's just set up incorrectly.
Summary: I bought this a month ago and it works really good. it is cute, the screen is wide, it is portable i can bring it anywhere - on the train, airplane, or whenever i travel. i would love to give my nieces and nephews this item as a gift. i am sure they will love this as much i do. it is worth the price.
Summary: Once again, overstock sold me a refurbished item when that is not what I wanted. I specifically did not choose the refurbished search, selected my product, and once it was delivered I discovered that yes, once again, I inadvertently ended up with a refurbished item. Upon going back and looking at the description, I missed this little icon they use for refurbished item. I really WISH overstock would list "refurbished" in every title of every item.
Summary: This model's lightweight, and the includes extras are nice. But Panasonic makes several models with larger screens and longer batteries, for not much more weight and (at times) a lower price. We bit the 10" with an 11-hour battery, and have loved it.
Panasonic DVD-LS850 Portable DVD Player with 8.5-i

Summary: My 65 year old wife is so happy with this player that you would think she was a child with a new favorite toy!!! She just loves the clarity and sharpness of the screen and the balanced sound. She travels on the ferry to Connicut to visit her sister and the player has to go also. Thanks for making me a good guy with her!!!
Summary: I purchased this player as a replacement because I clumsily killed my Toshiba SD-P1900 9" player. I figured, even with a half-inch loss of screen size, I'd still be in the game, right? Panasonic's a great brand name, right? WRONG. This particular Panasonic model not only has lousy picture quality and no remote, but there are no fast forward or fast rewind functions other than skipping all the way ahead or all the way back to the beginnings of scenes.
