LG DP889 is a slim and portable 8” DVD player and digital photo frame designed in glossy black finish. It lets user to enjoy watching DVD movies and videos as well as enables user to put it on the side of the bed as a digital photo frame. Among of its main features include integrated 3-in-1 card reader, USB host, 256MB integrated memory, supplied remote control and car kit.

The DP889 is built with an 8” WVGA swivel screen that has a native resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It lets user to access and play DVD+RW / +R, DVD±R Double Layer, DVD-RW / -R (VR/ Video Mode), and CD-R/-RW. Besides play movies, it also allows user to play music from audio CD in MP3 audio format. For video, it supports DivX File Format [*.avi, *.divx], DivX Subtitle Format [*.smi, *.srt, *.sub, *.txt] and DivX Subtitle Language. Additionally, it supports SVCD, VCD, JPEG, MP3, MP3 ID Tag, and WMA. It is built in with a 3-in-1 card reader for SD, MMC and MS access. It also has an USB host for user to access audio, videos and photos files from USB storage device. It also features 256MB integrated memory allowing user to store photos and synchronize them as a slideshow. Its integrated battery is able to hold up to 3 hours and 30 minutes of battery life. It also offers two headphones sockets allowing private listening for two. It also comes with a car kit and built-in speakers. The standard package comes with a remote control, AV RCA cable, battery pack, AC adaptor and power cord, automotive adaptor, battery for remote control, warranty card and user’s guide.
