Summary: I do a fair amount of motorcycle touring and camping. In a lonely campsite, it's nice to have some entertainment. My 80gb Classic iPod holds more than enough movies for a weeks worth of evening viewing. Remember, you have to change the iPod's output from it's own screen to export the signal to the iLuv. It's somewhere in preferences, I think. It has enough charge for two short movies or a long movie and a concert.
Summary: I bought this unit so I could play videos for my kids during a 20 hour car ride. It worked flawlessly with my 30gig iPod, and I was able to output the signal to two other video screens (you have to buy additional cables) so all three kids could see the movies. You can even scroll through your ipod content with the remote to pick the next movie (while the iPod is in the unit). We were able to keep all the kids occupied and no one had to get up and change dvds.
