Summary: I got this for Christmas from my husband and I love it. It's easy to use, portable-great for travel- and I love that I can plug into my TV and watch anything from my ipod. Great picture, sound, everything. Now just looking for a carrying case.
Pros: Compact, Consistent Performance, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, High Quality Picture
Summary: I purchased this unit to pass time on a long jet trip to Europe. I have to tell you, viewing your videos and movies on this one was really cool and easy on the eyes! Another really cool feature was the dual headphone jacks for my wife and me. Very cool, great purchase, no regrets.
Summary: This is one of the most complicated DVD players I have messed with. Half the time the iPod touch screen wouldn't register what I was telling it to do and the other half the movie wouldn't come up on the screen. Not user Friendly! and picture quality is only mediocre. Would not recommend.
Pros: Charges Ipod while on doc
Cons: Not user friendly, Poor display, Poor Interface, Poor sound quality, Slow Transfer, Unreliable, Weak Dock
Summary: I took delievery of my units a while ago and inistially it worked perfectly with my iPod CLassic. I installed the ungrade disc that came iwth the unit and guess what? It stopped working woth the iPod The DVD id fine but when I try to use the iPod it just kicks back to DVD feeature Good idea, nice unit doesn;t work.
Summary: i bought this product as a bit of an impulse buy. i think it is fairly good, the only problem is the touch controls, which can be overly annoying to use. dvd picture is pretty good, as is the ipod picture. i kind of dont know weather it is neccessary because a laptop does the same thing, and is almost as portable. even so, i do think it is a good buy. it is a luxury really.
Summary: I bought one these yesterday and have been very disappointed. The screen is awful and the resolution extremely poor from both DVD and Ipod sources. The controls both remote and built in are clunky. The overall build quality is not fit for a £150.00 gadget. Already taken it back to shop!! However it looks good.... which is all I can say in its favour. A much better bet is the Philips DCP850 and cheaper too at £ 119!!
good product but lottery for 'classic' compatability

Summary: Got my item today, and will first respond to the first two reviews - item is not 'massive, bulky and heavy' it has an 8.5" screen and an ipod next to it. you can do the math and get the size before you buy. in terms of weight, it is similar to the portable DVD player I own. - the stand does not lock - well it does on mine but you have to extend the feet down, which is not obvious at first, but the products stands up fine when locked - it does come with AC adapter (with...
Summary: I would like to say that after recieving this item for christmas im very upset about it and quite honestly I cant wait to get rid of it. Here are the faults I found: 1) The item was massive, bulky and heavy. 2) The item is badly designed. It has no cover for the screen so as soon as its out the box its getting scratched. I dread to think what would happen to it on a holiday or on travels. 3) The item looks old fashioned.
Summary: This seems only to work for the iPod Video, (despite what it says on their website). There are few details on Amazon, but iLuv state it will work for a Nano. which is what I wanted it for. I have e-mailed them for a solution, but at this rate, the iLuv i1155BLK - iPod Docking Station/DVD Player is going back to Amazon. Pity, because it's a rather neat looking unit.
