Excerpt: We bought this for our 7 year old son to use on long road trips or when going on vacation. It is very durable and light weight. Love the compact design. It is very easy to use. The picture and sund quality is very good. Would recommend to anyone. Very good value for the price that we paid for it.
Excerpt: Please save your money and invest in something that will actually work properly. I bought this player thinking that it would be great to use on long car trips and to use while out of town. Boy, this DVD player is a piece of crap. The battery life sucks it does not even last an hour so make sure you are near a plug to charge it. Also for some reason it will play certain DVD's but not others.
Excerpt: I honestly never liked the idea of having a mini DVD player, to me it is a waste of time. For the money you spend on one of these tiny bad excuses for a DVD player, you could spend a little more and get a laptop and it would be worth it. With a laptop you can do a lot more than just watch DVDs. This portable DVD player in particular is of the lowest grade. It has terrible sound quality. It doesn't play all DVD's. Where is the point of that?
Summary: I won a Coby LED TV via a company contest. After replacing multiple expensive HDMI cables and diagnosing Blue Ray player we find that the TV was faulty from day one. Coby customer service insist that nothing be done other than pay freight, labor, and wait. I plan to take the set to the dump and buy a quality product to replace. Coby will never see more of my hard earned money. What is the moral and ethical thing to do does not seem to matter to this company. Adios Coby.
Summary: I was looking for a portable DVD player for all regions somewhere i read someones review said that it was for all regions but only region 1 (North America)here it will not play the foreign movie. I give it 1 star but if it was the right player then that will be totally different then a 5 star.
Summary: I bought this to entertain the grandkids when ferrying them around and (VERY important to me) for it's ALL-REGION capability. (I finished up giving the eldest the system for his own use, since I purchased a couple of Philips with somewhat larger screens, and a much longer battery life). You'll have to set up the ALL-REGION capability; the setup is described in other posts here and it WORKS!
Summary: This worked fine for one half a movie and then froze. I put in several other DVDs and it just says no disc. I now all I have is a very expensive set of ear phones. They are the only things that work.
