Summary: My elderly father likes books on CD. He likes to make his own CD's, which is a nice project for him. He is nearly blind so this feat is awesome for him. We tried 3 different personal CD players, and none of them played his homemade CD's. We bought 2 of these used, and we are glad we did.
Summary: I listen to CD books . This is Perfect for this ! Love the Bookmarks.. I noted that people were complaining about MP3's . This is not want I bought it for. The batteries last a long time with this Player.
Summary: This CD player is as small as it is physically possible, its diameter just a little larger than the CD itself. The volume controls are tiny, other controls are not obvious by looking at them, and in general, unless you had the manual with you, you wouldn't know which controls do what.

Summary: I bought this item and it sound so good just make sure you set the EQ to the heavy option that's where you get the best sound ever. I've been listening to some of my old CDs and it's like I'm listening to these songs for the first time.
Summary: As far as this reviewer is concerned, this baby does everything it claims to do - play music. I take it for walks and it has never skipped or given me a fit. It doesn't have treble/bass controls, but most products that do, the best setting is with everything cranked up anyhow.
Summary: My 1 year old Sony G2 Sport CD player died and I was given a $99 store credit since I had bought a 2 year warranty from the store (good thing). I then used that credit to purchase this thing (...). I am so glad my old G2 Sport died. This product is incredible.
Summary: The Sony D-NE 300 is a great and stylish CD player. Its sound is superb especially with the parametric equalizer, and various sound enhancing setting, off, rock, soft, etc. activated. The G shock protection is adequate even when riding a very bouncing school bus on rough pavemnet.
Summary: This player lets you play many hours of programming on a single disc (via mp3); I have done just this (for extended bus/airplane trips); it's a fabulous feature. It also plays "ordinary" CDs, of course. It's well made, and it displays (as you have a right to expect) track listings.
