Summary: This small player gives pretty good sound for the money. It is a bit tinny sounding, but you get what you pay for. All in all, I say that it sounds fine for a walk around the neighborhood, no skipping, the radio works fine, and I am pleased with this product. I love the pink color, it is light to hold, and play all of my CD's and CD-R's. I did not like the headphones, but I bought a different pair and I am fine now.
Summary: I bought the Sony Walkman (CD/a.m., f.m. tuner)in pink. A hard color to find in my area. It worked for a few weeks, so I wrote a very nice review about Etronics, the company that sells the item on Amazon. Needless to say I removed the review when the CD just stopped working. I sent an email to Etronics to inform them about the problem. They told me it was not their responsibility, and gave me a phone number for Sony. I felt like they really passed the buck on me.
Summary: CD player works great, would recommed it to anyone one, great pink coloring, batteries last fairly long. Company selling them is excellent to deal with. Mailman supposedly delievered package to me and it wasn't on my porch, so I called the company and they shipped another one to me right away.
Summary: I expected a Sony product to be good in quality considering the two previous player's I've had, but I was very disappointed. First off, the shell itself is flimsy. When I bought the product I thought it must have been cheap, but I decided to give Sony the benefit of the doubt and stick by my purchase. Second: It sucks batteries dry in no time.
Summary: My player read CD-RWs for about three weeks, then all of a sudden it got picky and only wants to read CD-Rs! I tested the RWs in my portable boombox from Wal-mart that was like 10 bucks and the CD-RWs played perfectly! I bought this Walkman b/c I constantly change my playlists and you can do that as often as you want with rewriteable CDs. If the product doesn't do as it advertises --"plays both CD-Rs and RWs"-- it's worthless in my book. The radio is mediocre.
