Summary: I got this for my 7 year old son who likes to listen to books. Not only was it late in being delivered, but it was not new when it came. It was dirty and clearly used and thrown in a box. He was so excited to get it, he wouldn't let me send it back for that reason.
Summary: I really like this player. Even though it doesn't remember where you stop listening, it isn't hard on batteries and the sound is really good. I have a hearing problem and can't afford a hearing aid, I have no trouble hear this device. Thanks Phillips for a fantastic mp3 cd player.
Summary: This model, though somewhat unattractive, is quite frankly the best CD player I've ever owned. It's durable, delivers great sound, and can play numerous tracks from your own CDRW's (homemade CD's). I had mine for years, but it finally broke after dropping it over 5-6 times over the years.
Summary: Love this CD player, had a previous one that quit working and took a long time to find another, even though it is used it has been working great. Shipped super fast and have been happy with my purchase.
Summary: I purchased this player a few weeks ago as a tool to use during my workouts. It works pretty good. The only thing I noticed that was different from the last Philips player I had is that this one isn't as loud. Otherwise I am faiarly comfortable with the purchase overall.
Summary: Those giving this a good review must never have owned an IRiver or high end Sony Walkman disc player. Please tell me what the devil does RESUME do that PAUSE has not always done? You can not return to your play point if you turn it off.
Summary: We had been using a portable cd player for my child's lullaby's cd & it went kaputz. So we got this one to replace it. I love that it has a little remote control. I like the touch screen. Just got it yesterday & for what we need it is great.
Summary: Personally, I'd rather have my MP3 player, but this was a gift for my sister. She loves it. It's a cd player that plays MP3s and has pretty good storage for up to 60 songs. If you can't afford a real MP3 player or are particularly attached to your cds, then this is the way to go.
Summary: I use my CD players to listen to audio books when I go to bed. I am loving the remote control -- really easy to use. I would not be happy, however, if it only had the touch screen. I have gone through several CD players and so far this is the best (have been using for 10 days).
