Summary: If I am playing an mp3 file and turn off my player. The player does not pick up from where I left off, but starts at the beginning of the disk. This makes it worthless for playing audio books.
Summary: I bought this item about 1 1/2 years ago and have hardly used it at all (maybe 10-15 times). I don't throw it around and hardly ever take it anywhere. Anyway, it just crapped out on me - just stops playing for no reason and won't start again no matter what I do. Once in a while it starts playing when I turn it on and then stops after a minute or so. This is so obviously a piece of junk, that it deserves a zero!
Summary: Everything works perfect came very fast excellent packaging and an unbelievable product. It is very easy to use and the skip function works great. A very high tech piece of equipment with no flaws except the owner.
Summary: Sound quality and listening value are both on the high side. It's a little more troublesome in listening navigation of the CD. I'm using a comparison with my former Philips CD (X-treme 25 ESP3). So far, no real problems and well worth the cost.
Summary: Hi I love this, I originally had 1 a few years ago when Circuit City was open, back in 2005 I originally bought it, but it broke down from me dropping it too much, but happy to say I bOught A NEW ONE FROM APEX SUPPLIERS here on Amazon.Com and it shipped fast and I recived it quick, very thrilled, excited and impressed, even plays my most stubborn cd's that normally wouldn't play in any other CD player or Stereo Boom Box System, I love it, especially with the battery...
Summary: This feature alone will keep me from ever buying a Sony CD player again: The battery cover placement! Sony tucks theirs way in near the hinge making it very difficult to get the batteries in and out. Phillips, on the other hand, placed their battery compartment where it makes the most sense: on the outside edge. So basic! Also, Phillips makes a good product, period. They have earned my trust. I love this digital player!
Summary: This cd player would've received 5 stars if not for one serious drawback. It doesn't pick up the story where it left off when I turned it off. If I'm playing a ten hour mp3 disk, I cannot listen for 10 hours straight and hunting for the place where I had to stop the player is very tedious at best and extremely annoying at worst. Unfortunately, this wasn't specified by the manufacturer.
Summary: I am just disappointed! I got the player some 3 months ago, I have used it a few times. At first it was great, but since a couple of days it's just not working; I guess it does not read cd anymore. It's shown "an error" all the time, and there is nothing I can do with it!!! I do not recommend that player!
Summary: Wow, our teenage daughter loves this product and she is hard to please. I wasn't overly convinced on the whole touch screen concept at first but that changed once I had a chance to use it. It works great, looks great and is a must buy for any teen that likes to burn their own cd's.
Summary: I have some books on MP3 files, and this product is virtually unusable for them. I've also used a Sony CD Walkman (D-NF400), and if you stop playing the CD with MP3 files on it, it will resume at the point where you turned it off -- it won't resume if you remove the CD, but that's not as bad as having to start again at the beginning each time you turn the player off.
