Summary: I bought this cd player for my mp3 music. I love the encoder and the feature of also playing with flashdrives and SD cards. The sound is good. A lot more than I expected. I don't know about the life of the battery yet. Great purchase for the money. It is small and simple to use.
Summary: What attracted me to the unit was the USB and Memory ports. What surprised me was to find out was you could pick songs off the CD and make MP3's on the USB thumb drive. My wife likes the player for the small size and the option of random song selection. All in all, it's nice little unit. One glitch is that occasionally the random selection feature does not select all the songs for playback.
Summary: Ordered online, it came out of box with the face off. Put it back on and could never get remote to work. Reception was not very good either. It is much smaller than it looks. LOVED all of the extra ports it has. Was really disappointed. Thought about ordering another to give them a second chance but my husband changed his mind about what he wanted.
Summary: This little machine does have good sound, but ....... I purchased it because it was the only one I could find that displayed the seconds on an CD track. Well it does display the seconds so you know exactly where you are when listening to something. The problem is, if you have to stop and start again later, there is no way to actually get back to that exact point on the CD. Displaying the number really does no good without the capability of getting back to that point.
Summary: I received the radio earlier this week & the packaging was missing the remote, which was one of the main reasons I chose this model. I'm a senior & often listen to the radio in bed. If I want to change the station or the volume, I have to get up. So I wanted a remote. Also, there is no instructions in the manufacturers (Jensen) box. Not even a single sheet or a website where I might obtain copy online. I need this.
Summary: I brought this radio to set on the table in my yard. I was hoping to use the usb connection to plug in my ipod, that didn't work, you have to use the in-puts on the side which require special wires. But I used the usb with some music loaded flash drives and it did just fine. The sound is fine for an intimate gathering (that's me), but not for a party setting(so not me).
