Summary: I bought this player about a month and half ago on Amazon. I was looking for a player that played all the common formats (mp3, audio cd, etc.). I also listen to FM radio a lot so ideally liked to have that too. This player came with all that and more.
Summary: I was looking for a high quality portable audio device, and at first had wanted the creative zen, however, many customers had reported heaphone jack breakages, and this turned me off. I had owned the iriver IMP 150 before it broke by being under books in my backpack and thrown around..
Summary: The product is great in comparision to previous cd player i've owned. It is nice and small, with alot of features. Just great. Pros: Small/Thin Alot of features rechargable batteries menu layout(easy navigation) Cons: easily scratched short battery life(dont kno y but i cant even listen through 100...
Summary: I owned this player for over one year, it works good so far, cd, mp3, but the radio is not very clear as wished. the only thing bothered me is the remote control is relativly too big but if w/o it, hard to get controling it. well, for this price it's good enough.
Summary: The software (on the player, not what you run on your PC) really kicks ass. You can adjust everything. Excellent menu system where you can look at files in subdirectories, etc. Miles ahead of competing products. I own 1 and gave 1 as a gift to my sister.
Summary: The iRiver SlimX is an amazing MP3 CD player, playing MP3 CDs, WMA CDs, and regular CDs with the same ease. I have never encountered a problem with skipping and always receive the same, excellent clarity, regardless of the type of file on the CD.
Summary: I have been using SlimX IMP350 since the summer of 2001. I was amazed at the features and how many songs it can hold (700mb cd). The FM tuner is a plus. Everytime I upgrade it gets better but like everything else they're flaws.
Summary: I really do enjoy having this CD/MP3 Player because it can fit in many places. I do not enjoy the long cord, though. One day my friends boyfriend took my CD player and pressed one button (the volume button, I think), and suddenly the remote did not work.
Summary: If you're looking for a lightweight, portable CD player that really knows how to play MP3 files, this is it. This is the only one that I've found (and I've tried several) that can handle the combination of MP3s and CD-RW media without hiccuping.
As good a portable MP3/CD player as is available right now

Summary: Let's face it: there is today a dizzying array of cd players, MP3 players, and combination cd/MP3 players available on the market, and most of these are a lot cheaper than the SlimX. So why spend the money for this comparatively pricey unit?
