Summary: I bought this CD player two years ago at Walmart of all places, and it lasted up until yesterday when I could no longer control the volume. This little guy has great sound, but I used some awesome headphones, Sony MDR-V-150, so I don't know if that's what made it sound so great but I suspect this is the case.
Summary: I bought this item because of the price, but "you get what you pay for." I listen to several audio books per week, and use this player exclusively for that purpose. It is a constant exercise in frustration! What is the point of a portable player that stops, skips or goes into a coma every time I draw a deep breath, to say nothing of actually walking around with it?!?!?
Summary: I got this cd player for my mom since she's a bit older and doesnt really know how to work an Mp3. Its a very basic player super easy to use for an older person. I honestly wouldnt use it myself but my mom loves it. Very to the point plays her cd's. It gets the job done. I wouldnt expect anything to amazing from this item.
Summary: I edited my review, after a month, half the sound (the left side) went out. I tried different headphones, still only one side picking up. I can't believe it's already faulty after one month ... skips too easily, too. Why can't they make these things better?
Summary: You can't beat this cd player, especially for the price. I tried a couple others before this one, and various parts either broke or stopped working after a couple of weeks. The GPX has been very reliable, and is well designed. A nice, cheap, easy to use alternative to an mp3 player.
Summary: It would suddenly stop. And would not come back on when I hit the play button. Also the manufactuer would not give a refund on the product unless it was determined to be defective from the factory. And even then would only replace the defective product at there determination. Otherwize it was buyers remorce.
