Wheel of Fortune® features the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system trophies which pits the player against real opponents in online multiplayer mode. The game features realistic graphics and sounds that allows gamers to immerse themselves in the actual game show set. There are nearly 9,000 puzzles to challenge the mind with customizable characters. The game also features single-player, multiplayer and network/multiplayer modes, eleven different playable cities across America, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, Charleston, Philadelphia and Fort Lauderdale and studio sets and sound effects straight from the TV show. Aside from single player mode against A.I. opponents, the game offers network/multiplayer modes with voice chat support. The multiplayer mode allows up to 3 players on Offline Versus Multiplayer mode, Online Versus Multiplayer mode and just Online Multiplayer mode. Wheel of Fortune® was released for the PlayStation Network on March 19 and retails for $14.99.

The original, manually-operated puzzle board was used for 22 years until it was replaced in 1997 by a digital board made of monitors. This cut out the breaks that the crew had to take to wheel the board off-stage and put the proper letters in place for the next round, which caused individual shows to take much longer to tape and edit before they aired than they would with digital monitors. Fans of Wheel of Fortune will enjoy the game without a doubt. I’d also like to note that bringing these sorts of games to the Playstation Network is exactly what we need simply for the fact that it is nice to have something to bring friends and family together while playing a game. I think the game would have been better priced at a $9.99 price-point rather than the $14.99 price it carries now and I would really like to see some automatic updates adding new puzzles on...
