Review Summary
Uncharted Drake Fortune is about a treasure hunter named Nathan Drake. Drake believes he is the inheritor of a famous explorer Sir Francis Drake. According to history Francis Drake was murdered and then buried in the sea. Nathan looks for his casket around the area he was supposedly killed. And surprise, the casket is empty, except for Drake’s long lost diary. Now maybe this diary will provide the key to uncover treasures. As the game unfolds you find yourself surrounded by pirates, and the action begins. Different types of weapons will be available for you to fire back, such as, a 9mm handgun, an Uzi, shotgun, M79 grenade launcher, AK-47 assault rifle, Desert Eagle, Dragunov sniper rifle, and a lot more. There is no shortage of firepower for Nathan, and some more he’ll be able to pick up whatever weapons the enemies drop. However the enemies are smart, they do not easily come under your shots and will know when to run away. They also have a sharp eye, so their ability to target you is quite precise. But if you get shot at, the health system in the game uses the new-standard of life regeneration to revive you. As per the reviews some players find the game to be fun with endearing characters and they mostly like the Jaw-dropping water effects. However others find it to be frustrating and repetitive. Moreover it is quite an entertaining story and you will want to keep going even when things get dull.

Ready for the holiday season comes one of the last big hitters for Sony, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Coming from the studio that brought Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter this is really something. This is a massive departure from the normal titles that the studio has turned out. Both Crash and Jak & Daxter are as far away from reality as you could possibly get, but Uncharted is the complete opposite, at least in terms of setting. Read more

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is arguably the best exclusive PlayStation 3 game to date. The game has some rough edges and some might not appreciate the imbalance between the difficult combat sequences and the stupidly easy platform game elements. It’s also a shame that the quality of the storyline drops off dramatically as the game progresses. That said, even with all of its flaws, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune does impress and it is one of the first games that really mak... Read more

Uncharted is a great big melting pot of culture. Within this title lives many influences from both gaming and film history, with Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, Pitfall, National Treasure, Gears of War, Romancing the Stone (for better or worse), Prince of Persia and Metal Gear Solid’s stronger features at the forefront of the title’s storyline and gameplay. Everything one would expect from an adventure game is present and in-your-face, with a few surprises thrown in for... Read more

I know quite a few people who shelled out big money for a PlayStation 3 last year and then went and picked up an Xbox 360 or a Wii (if they could find one) because of the lack of good games for the more expensive PS3. And while 2007 began with a lot of promise for the console, sadly many of the titles that people where waiting for got pushed back to 2008, or worse yet now have unspecified release dates. The only game left that could save the PS3 for 2007 was Uncharted... Read more

The latest gaming blockbuster from Sony, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune arrives on the PlayStation 3 just in time for Christmas that is also a PS3 exclusive by developers Naughty Dog. This action adventure game follows the same vein as Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones where gamers are transformed into the role of a treasure, more particular in this adventure, wise guy and everyman Nathan Drake. Whether fact or fiction (in the story), Nathan... Read more

Reviewer: Nintendofan19, gametrailers.com5 days agoIs this the tresure hunt we want and need or is it just a Naughty Dog? Drake is a young archealogist who wants to recover a strange tresure with the help of likeable friends. The enimies are big nasty ugly guys who's only ambition is to kill you. Most of them are fairly easy but some are pretty hard to take down. It may have some corny love scenes and jokes but its has great voice acting awesom... Read more

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Unchanted: Drake's Fortune, is probably one of the best PS3 exclusive games out there on the market, and it has beaten Lara Croft by miles. It looks great, feels great and plays great. But there is one thing missing. Multiplayer. Sony have given us a free multiplayer experience using the Playstation, but Unchanted have just missed the bus stop to multiplayer. Why does this game NEED multiplayer do you ask? It's because the game finishes too quickly. This means that at... Read more

Move over Lara Croft (for now)

This is the first game that I played on my PS3 - I got it on Monday! I have, as it happens, just finished 'Uncharted' and I certainly can't say that I am disappointed with that fact. What a great game! It's probably one of the most compelling adventure games that I've played in a very long while (prolly since RE4 on the GameCube!) and certainly got me 'back into gaming'. It looks FANTASTIC. Even on my 23' baby-HD TV (it spits out at 1080i) it look just unbelievable. E... Read more
