Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is the forthcoming Action-adventure game sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and will be the third installment in the Uncharted series. This game is created by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation 3, and is due for release on November 1, 2011. Uncharted 3 will be the first game in the series to support high-resolution Stereoscopic 3D. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception features Nathan Drake and partner Sully on a hunt for the lost city of Iran, a journey that leads them to the Rub’ al Khali desert and Arabian Peninsula. The story not only includes the life of Sir Francis Drake, but also the archaeology days of British Army officer T.E. Lawrence also known as Lawrence of Arabia.

In this Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, a few improvements have been made from the previous game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Some of them are the ability to fight hand to hand with multiple enemies as well as enhanced backward climbing. The game’s multiplayer aspect will be greatly expanded as creator; Naughty Dog is attempting to bring the cinematic qualities of the single-player campaign to the multiplayer. However, the maximum number of players allowed in one multiplayer match has been raised to 12. The players will be taken to spectacular new locations around the globe that will showcase all of the work Naughty Dog did on to take the game’s physics, particle and visual effects to a new level. During the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s demo was revealed, it certainly shows that the 45 Defender and AK47 are definitely in the game, along with a much more advanced melee system. The competitive and co-op multiplayer of this game will definitely be the key ingredients while the other features will combine with the signature single-player cinematic gameplay to create a unique action-adventure multiplayer experience that can be found only in the Uncharted universe.
