Nathan Drake is back, as gaming’s most charismatic hero tries to solve the mystery of Marco Polo’s last voyage (and earn himself a fortune in treasure at the same time). The original was one of the first games to really prove the power of the PS3, but this sequel is another huge leap forward.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a must buy for the single player alone, much less the new addition of multiplayer mdoes. It is not very often that a game comes along where you cannot put down the controller until the credits roll. A title that shows polish in every aspect of its design is a rare gem. Sure I can be picky with a few missing visual details or repetitive enemies, but none detract from how good, and how fun this game is. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is probably... Read more
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves offers the thrills, the gun fights, the witty dialog, the climbing, the surprises and the plot that you would expect from an '80s archeology-oriented movie. The difference is that you get to play the main hero and directly enjoy, if not shape, the experience. Combine this with superb graphics, which probably are testing the limits of the PlayStation 3, some impressive details in the scenes and the animations, beautiful sounds and solid... Read more
has most certainly succeeded in meeting the great expectations I had for the game. It is a game where the whole exceeds the sum of all the individual parts. It perfectly knows how to combine humor, action, betrayal, amazement and various different gameplay elements all together into a mix with fireworks as a result. Beyond this Uncharted also contains a good multiplayer component which will add to the replay value. The game isn't perfect, but the small issues are... Read more
Uncharted 2 is a supremely confident game, and rightfully so. Naughty Dog know they have something remarkable on their hands and are keen to emphasise its best aspects; whether it be in the immaculate cut scenes, breathtaking action sequences or just wandering around, marvelling at the scenery and hitherto unseen presentation and production levels. Naughty Dog really really know their stuff, and Among Thieves could easily be the poster-child for games leading movies, not... Read more
"Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" is an awesome experience. It takes the original game and improves on it in everyway creating a dynamic cinematic experience. In keeping with its storytelling routes it is incredibly linear but the connection the characters display with each other, and created in me as a player, ensured that my goals were the same as theirs and I was elated to follow the game’s fast paced lead down the roller coaster tracks. Ok, so let's start this review by thanking Naughty Dog for this spectacular new game. The graphics are absolutely stunning in some places, the game was addicting , and the voice acting was amazing. The game focused mainly on the story to create an amazing masterpiece of firefights, great cutscenes and of course Drake is still there. Ok the cons. Although this game was great it had minor setbacks. It took me only about 15 hours to complete, and, like the first one, it... Read more
After finally purchasing a PS3, and watching an extremely terrible movie, I went to Gamestop and picked up this game; simply because the commercial just finally got to me about the girl thinking it was a movie. I thought to myself why not? I never played the first one, but you don't need to play it, to play Uncharted 2. It's useful for a character significance to understand how they know each other, but other than that it's not mandatory. The story starts with a huge... Read more
Okay heres the thing I have played Uncharted 2: Among Thieves story mode 3 times now and the story is still keeping playing the game. The multiplayer is one of the best on the ps3. Although there are some faults such as migrating host, a conection being lost, your friend losing conection. Despite these faults and other stuff the game has the shine and polish of any great game and it deserves its 10 rating thank you for reading this Read more
for Fat PS3 owner make sure the PS3 has plenty of ventilation when playing this Game. If you experience freezing your PS3 could be over heating. if it does turn off don't restart it, let it cool down. Read more
This game is great. The graphics are amazing and the online multiplayer is loads of fun. The campaign or single player story is spectacular. You feel as if you are actually there in person. When you are climbing buildings things break and make it seem as if you almost fell. It is a very addictive game. The online multiplayer is a lot of fun and the different match modes go with the theme of the game. This game is great for kids that want a call of duty type game, but... Read more
