    In a day where matches can't seem to be won without the use of some crazy comeback mechanic, one has to wonder what happened to all the real honest fighting games. I miss the days when you're down to your last sliver of life, and nothing was going to save you except flawless execution and the will to win. Read more

    The console port of The King of Fighters XII finally arrives, bringing two new characters to the Xbox 360 and PS3, but there aren't many bells and whistles coming along for the ride. What we have here is a good fighting engine wrapped in a thin shell. Read more

    Conclusion: Cliché as it is to say, this game stands as a fundamental reboot of the entire King of Fighters series. KoF spent the last half-decade or so in a rut: the same art assets, minor tweaks and updates. Towards the end, it was the walking corpse of a once was. Read more

    2D fighting games have been making a comeback over the past few years. Long-time gamers that have spent a lot of their time at the arcade will most likely remember SNK’s flagship fighting series: The King of Fighters. After a long stretch of near-perfection, the series hit a small bump with the last episode, King of Fighters XII. The game was still very good, but it failed to achieve the same kind of greatness fans of the series were used to. Read more

    I've been a KOF fan since KOF 94.. I LOVE KOF... but i was so apalled with KOF XII that i returned it the same day to Gamestop and got my money back... Thank God for KOF XIII that came out recently.... now that one... I love!!!!! Read more

    KOF XIII delivers a well balanced fighter games, complete with cancels, counters and specials......If this is the first time playing the series, i would suggest you go to the tutorial and mission mode before you start battling it out online or in arcade/story modes. the game is what most KoF wanted with XII but came up short.
