List All 3 PricesThe Godfather II for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has made a mangled mess of organized crime. This Godfather has more in common with Saints Row than the original license it obtained and draws more parallels with the Porky's Revenge than a masterful... Read more
The Godfather 2 isn't exactly the best Mafia game. For that it's too much in the shadow of the movies and the promising Mafia 2. Except for some nice features like Don's View, the mano-a-mano combat system, decent sound and relatively good recreation of the 60s crime scene this game has little to offer. Read more
In short doses Godfather II can be an absolute hoot, but sadly its shortcomings become more and more obvious the longer you spend with it. Read more
What have we done to them that EA should show us such disrespect? Read more
With The Godfather II considered one of the greatest movie sequels of all time, EA has a lot to live up to in its video game sequel of the same name. So, is this title an offer you can't refuse? Read more
Inspired by the film and Mario Puzo's Corleone family drama, The Godfather II game goes beyond the film's story by setting players in the world of organized crime in 1960s Florida, Cuba and New York. Read more
That's not to say that The Godfather II is as bad as the mindless games from the old-school EA machine of pitiful licensed properties, because the team clearly shows us they've learned at least a few things from EA's much-needed strategy change over the last two years. But frankly, this game has only barely clawed its way out of that pit - and then it's got the legacy of the Francis Ford Coppola films looming over it, making it easy for gamers to judge its every little... When I sat down to begin reviewing The Godfather II , EA's latest installment of Francis Ford Coppola's legendary screen trilogy, I was a bit leery. Despite the critical praise heaped upon its predecessor, The Godfather , which I played on the Xbox 360 back in 2006, I was not overly impressed. To me, the initial game attempted to mesh a Grand Theft Auto style sandbox play with a well-delineated movie script and the result was, again in my opinion, less than satisfying. Read more
Firefighter. Astronaut. Policeman. These were all pretty stock-standard responses from kids when asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. Read more
EA introduces some new gameplay elements and injects some variety, but it's not enough to keep the game from getting repetitive, and the overall polish isn't as high as it was in the original. Read more
This game is fun for about 2 days then you realize that you are doing the same stuff over and over again. The game itself is ok and I gave it a 4 star rating because its the godfather but the fun level is gone in a day. This game could have been so much better. Read more
This game is great. Sure, most ppl say it's not as good as the first Godfather, but i've never played it. So, this game rocks. I love all the weapons you get to use. All the cars feel different from the other. The world act's with what's going on. IE: If i'm killing a guy, they will run screaming for the cops, or they will try to save the person i'm killing. There is a combat system with an aiming assist when zooming in, and a "duck and cover" setup. Read more
Godfather II is loosely based around the Godfather trilogy including characters from the film, related storylines and just about enough violence, gumbas and vintage cars to keep you entertained! PLOT - The story is based around your character Dominic who has been promoted up through the ranks from the last game to position of boss to look after the Corleone family. Read more
It was ok, not quite as developed as the original and a whole lot shorter with not as many side objectives. Read more
