List All 12 PricesBack on track (heh), we're still faced with a curious decision. We have access to the internet through our PS3, so why should we pay £20 for 30 songs we, if we're being honest, wouldn't have bought normally, even at 99p each? We don't think the PSP Remote Play functionality makes it worth while, but we reckon the harmony duet mode just about swings it. Oh, and the trippy background music. So, get this if you like SingStar Vol.2's track selection and you're effortlessly... Read more
Overall, SingStar Vol. 2 is a tremendous improvement over its PS3 predecessors thanks to My SingStar Online and the SingStore. Compared to the first PS3 SingStar, though, it’s a little more than a song expansion pack. For early adopters, it would been nice if Sony allowed us to import the songs from the first SingStar onto the PS3’s hard drive (to prevent disc swapping) or the ability to download Vol. 2 songs from the SingStore. That said, the core game here is... Read more
SingStar Vol. 2 offers up more of the same, but at $40 isn't worth the purchase price when you may only tolerate half the tracks available, if that. Read more
The overall decision on this game is pretty easy to figure out. Go buy it if you havn’t gotten yourself any karaoke games for your Ps3. Even if you got the first one on the system, it’s still worth picking up, because there is a pretty good selection of songs packed in on this disc. Bet you didn’t see that coming. You totally thought I was going to say pass. This game rocks, so go snatch on from your local game store. Read more
I doubt that everyone will want to buy both SingStar and SingStar Vol.2. If you're interested, I recommend that you read my review of the first game first since not all that much has changed, have a look at the track lists for both games, and then purchase the one that has more songs that appeal to you. If you want to expand your song collection after that, you're probably better off picking only the songs that you like from the online store. Read more
I have to rate this game completely average because it isn't a noticeable upgrade from the first volume. As reviewed, it doesn't have the Rock Band 2 download so disk swapping isn't required... I don't even know if my original DLC will work with this new game. Unless there's some fancy patch (I'm not holding my breath), I won't be making this purchase... no matter how great the songs are. I'll use the DLC from the first volume to satisfy my karaoke hunger. Read more
You can sing in Rock Band, with better and more songs. Plus there is a better GAMING enviroment in Rock Band, and you can also play your songs with instruments!! Also, you can download songs individually (except for AC/DC pack, and the ones included in the standards discs, but if you buy the second one you get 104 songs for 60$). Read more
