SingStar Vol. 2 offers up more of the same, but at $40 isn't worth the purchase price when you may only tolerate half the tracks available, if that. Read more

Do not pick this one up. Yes, it's SingStar , and it's still a blast, but there's zero reason why these songs couldn't have just been added to the very store that was created for this kind of thing. Leave the 30 song track packs to the PS2. Read more

I'm not quite sure what to make of SingStar Vol. 2.  Here you have a game released less than a year after its predecessor and that doesn't really add all that much to the game beyond its 30 new songs - and these songs are added to a game that already supports downloadable tracks.  This is even odder when you take into account the fact that those who own the first game won't be able to download the tracks from this volume and vice-versa.  I though that the whole online... SingStar is back for another round on the PS3 in SingStar: Vol. 2 and with it comes some much better tunes than the last version. Really fun tunes like Lit's "Miserable," Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like a Lady," Eminem's "Without Me," and The Offspring's "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" are undeniably a blast to sing and really make SingStar: Vol. 2 a serious karaoke game contender. Overall, SingStar Volume 2 is hardly a game-changer. Basically, everything you’ve ever experienced in a SingStar game is once again present in this title. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing, as the SingStar formula has proven successful thus far, and the minor tweaks they have made in this entry all seem for the better. Read more

My son took this game to his grandmas to play with his cousins. They are in the 10-18 age group. They played it all afternoon and some the next day. It is pretty forgiving, in that none of them are great singers, and yet they still scored pretty well. They really had fun with it. The songs do get old, though, and once you go through them a few times, they went back to Madden 12. Read more

I think you need to change the description that accompanies the rating numbers or lower the score you gave it.  It seems pretty silly to me that "7.0 Recommended!" is followed by, "...isn't worth the purchase price," and "ultimately this endeavor failed immensely." Read more
