Review Summary

Rock Band features guitar-based rhythm of the creators of the Guitar Hero franchise (Harmonix). Rock Band’s inclusion of vocals and drums differentiates it from other games. The real brilliance of Rock Band is in its multiplayer. You can have two guitarists, or one guitar player and a bass player, a vocalist, and the drummer. Almost every musician will love to play Rock Band. The game includes the four main instruments needed to make a rock band; namely guitar, bass, drums and vocals. And all together it turns out to be a highly playable and intensely addictive game. The multiplayer supersedes the solo player. This game is all about the act of performance as a band, getting a group of four people together and working together to get the highest score bonuses possible as a group. You will fake guitar playing and realistically singing and drumming your way through more than 40 different licensed rock hits. Any music lover will adore Rock Band. The singing game is also fun, it is almost like Karaoke. You sing along as the lyrics displayed on the screen, trying to match your vocal pitch to the meter that moves up and down with the original vocal track. As party games go, this is one of the best, its included hardware is a lot of fun to play with. The Band world tour mode is very addictive. This game will probably make you a better drummer. All in all the presentation is fantastic.
