A cute little “tower defense” game all spiffed up for the PS3. There’s nothing spectacular here, but this time-killer has its charm nonetheless. Read more

The tower or fortress defence genre is one that's very familiar to PC gamers and RTS fans alike. However, console gamers have rarely experienced the easily understandable and addictive nature of this offshot of the strategy genre. PixelJunk Monsters, the second downloadable title from Q Games, brings its unique style and meshes it with a time-tested gameplay formula, to give a captivating experience. Read more

Everything is easy to control, and there's not a lot of confusing menu junk to sort thru. You'll have no problem jumping in, and I definitely believe you'll be hooked from the starting point on out. A great way to spend $10 or so, especially for something that will keep you entertained for quite a while. Read more

A great, fresh take on the Tower Defense games, but make sure you know what you're getting into before you buy this game. The gameplay is quite different from the popular Desktop Tower Defense, but it's still satisfying in it's own way. Instead of a cursor, you control a tribesman with the dpad or left analog and you have to walk him around to build your towers. At 7 bucks, it's a decent value, considering the amount of replay you're gonna get out of this, but I wished... Read more
