Honestly, Pain has been one of my most anticipated titles this year. Of course it can't compare to some of this year's bigger releases, but I am a girl of simple tastes. At heart, I think nearly everyone who plays videogames is a closet designer. I challenge you to find a player who hasn't at least one time or another uttered the phrase, "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a game where you..." As it relates to Pain , the question ends with, "...could launch someone out of a giant slingshot." There are a few different maps and some other game types (like mime toss) and a weekly update that lets you test out some new ideas on the drawing board. Also you can purchase add ons such as maps or different characters to launch (like a drunken looking dirty old Santa). what a disappointment! I expected at least something on a level with LittleBig Planet but apparently this one let me down big time. No game play at all / just katapulting poor guy in the walls.
