Monopoly does its best to be a fun game but even the many boards can't make a real board game of this digital version. You lack the atmosphere of the discussions and also the absence of an online part is unfortunate. The real board game easily rises above this digital version with head and shoulders. Read more
EA has managed to produce a competent virtual version of the classic board game, but we still can't recommend it over buying the real thing. You get numerous boards and the questionable Get Rich Quick mode, but you lose so much by not being able to play the way you want. If the idea of playing a board game seems too last century this virtual edition might be worth a look, but be aware that this is only ever going to be second best. Read more

Fun: This Monopoly game is not like the original game or the one for PS2. In this game you have to action the property if you do not purchase it yourself. My husband and I have figured out we can just let the time expire on the auction clock and if no bids are made we can move on. This makes the game drag and last forever. Very Addictive Gameplay. The turns are quick, the graphics are great, and unlocking additional game boards is fun. My family and I have been playing this game since it's release. NON-STOP! A truly unexpected jewel of a game. And I'm the one person in my household who didn't really care for Monopoly. (The board game). Excellent game. Read more
