List All 5 PricesKillzone 2 has a lot to prove; more so than any game should reasonably have to. The one key genre the PlayStation family has always been lacking in has been the first-person shooter, and ever since Killzone was first unveiled in 2003 as a major first-party production, it has always been unfairly labelled as a ‘ Halo killer’. However, it was not to be, since the finished game was an enjoyable but unpolished and unrefined effort which required another handful of months... Read more
The essence of life on other planets is all but a reality according to scientists. In a recent study by NASA, several scientists believe that Earth-like life might exist on millions of planets located within our own galaxy. Read more
So is Killzone 2 the vaunted killer app that PlayStation fans have been desperately craving? Mostly. It’s certainly a step in the right direction that was started with Resistance: Fall of Man. It’s not the best shooter ever made, but it comes very close to living up to the unfair levels of hype heaped upon it over the years. With a solid campaign, addictive multiplayer, and some of the greatest presentation ever seen in a video game, Killzone 2 is well worth your... Read more
"Killzone 2" was certainly worth the long wait, the cover-based single player campaign may be a tad short, although it’s certainly memorable and has a smart opposition army to contend with, whilst the multiplayer is up there with the greatness of the likes of Call of Duty and Halo. Read more
I look at Killzone 2 as two games hiding under the guise of one. The first offers a decent if intense single player campaign mode utilizing some amazing tech and engine power we can only hope Sony finds a way to propagate to other titles. I say this having put in all my Killzone 2 hours on a 112" 1080p front projection system. While that alone may not be worth your $60, the multiplayer game is where Guerilla Games put forth their strongest creative muscle which alone is... Read more

I was not very impressed with Killzone 2. It's not a bad game, but it isn't anything special, either Read more
Killzone 2 is a great looking game with a solid story, but the meat of the game is in multiplayer. Earning ribbons to unlock badges that will allow you to customize your kits. Unique abilities like a cloaking sniper, air turrets, and being able to disguise yourself a member of the opposing team are a few of the ways that Killzone requires the player to strategize differently than in most of the other FPS franchises. Couple this with a ranking system, 5 different game... Read more
This has to be one of the greatest FPS games ever. To me it is second to Call of Duty 4 but maybe third after Modern Warfare 2 is released. I bought it about a month after it came out and always play the multiplayer which is amazing. I haven't yet finished the campaign because I always play the online multiplayer. Read more
One of the main reasons I bought the PS3 after the price drop was this game. While it was debunked as the "Halo Killer" I thought that it would at least measure up to Gears of War. I was mistaken! Even Marcus Fenix has more personality than that clown Sev. I won't even mention what I thought of that psycho Rico. As for the game, the background graphics are great but the character models suck. The game's action level is really intense but that wears thin the longer you... Read more
