is without a doubt a beautiful piece of gameplay and offers a lot of realistic driving fun. Visually and auditively this is top, but the game does disappoint in a lot of other departments, not in the least when comparing with other racing games that have been on the market already for quite some time. The weak online multiplayer, the absence of a damage model, the average AI and the somewhat clumsy menus make the game a lot less appealing. A definite suggestion for those... Read more

Drifting started out as a racing technique over 30 years ago when motorcycling legend turned driver, Kunimitsu Takahashi, became famous for his drifting style in the 1970s. He became well-known for hitting the apex at a high speed and drifting through the corner to preserve a high exit speed, which became a strategy that helped him earn several championships and immense popularity. The Gran Turismo series has been the game of choice for many car aficionados since its initial launch in 1998. The titles have an unrivalled number of cars, with some of the most realistic handling seen in racing games and graphics that have pushed the hardware to the limit. But this formula is now a decade old and whilst sequels have always remained popular, can the series still make an impact now that we’ve entered another console generation? Read more

This game sure is not lacking cars; however so far (completed the 'A' series of events), it seems to not have many circuits, only half a dozen. I hope more become accessible as I progress, but I have doubts it will be as many as I'd like. For those circuits that are there, though, there is little to complain about. The graphics are great (1080 resolution!). I haven't seen if they can be driven at night or in bad weather, if not that would definitely be a bad point... Read more

I'm a huge GT fan. But I think this version may have been released before it was ready to meet the deadline. I hate the "pass them all in one lap races", and the penalties interrup far too often to fully enjoy the game. You get penalized even when other cars bump into you. And when there are many cars on the screen at the same time, the processor bogs down and makes the screen jump. I also preferred the "race for the parts" version of the game more than this one. The... Read more

After playing GT5 Prologue for awhile I am really looking forward to gran turismo 5 now. The graphics are simply amazing, the races are really fun, and the online aspect of the game makes it even better! I love the in-car view and the realistic sounds and visuals of the game. The tracks are amazing too. If this is just the demo of the real game, I cannot wait until the real thing comes out! Read more
