List All 3 PricesBy now it should be clear that I did not enjoy my time with Ninja Blade . Playing the game is a frustrating experience filled with little bumps and potholes that conspire against your enjoyment. Think, for instance, of Japanese Ninja's speaking like American truck drivers? And what about glass floor titles that are so damaged that no one in his right mind would stand on them, and yet you are expected to run around on them freely? Read more
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a game that many have expressed concern about. Over the past several weeks many Operation Sports users have complained the game is nothing more than an overpriced demo.
Overall, both hardcore and amateur-level gamers should enjoy Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and can purchase it today at Amazon.com for $39.99 with free shipping. Read more
Still, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue excels on the multimedia front, and its single-car simulation excellence shows promise. But it’s that same "promise" that makes GT5: Prologue so hard to score. The package isn’t quite a full retail game, and it’s not quite a demo. It provides a good taste of the content coming in GT5, but not quite enough to compel you to play for hours and hours. Read more
is without a doubt a beautiful piece of gameplay and offers a lot of realistic driving fun. Visually and auditively this is top, but the game does disappoint in a lot of other departments, not in the least when comparing with other racing games that have been on the market already for quite some time. The weak online multiplayer, the absence of a damage model, the average AI and the somewhat clumsy menus make the game a lot less appealing. Read more
In the end GT5 Prologue is pretty essential for GT fans but its enhanced demo nature is more than obvious in various parts of the package. Read more
If this is a demo, it’s the best one on the market... Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (now referred to as Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Spec III after its most recent software update) follows in the footsteps of Gran Turismo 4: Prologue, and offers a taste of the next full Gran Turismo game, which still appears to be some way off. Whilst the amount of content on offer is nowhere near what we will expect to see from the full game, there is nonetheless a lot on offer in Prologue. Read more
I have never considered myself a gearhead, but when it comes to racing games on any videogame console I like to try all of them to see what is new and exciting. Plus the fact that I can drive with reckless abandonment is a bonus. Racing games seem to take two different paths, arcade or simulation. Sure, there are those few that try to ride the line in between, but most fall into one category or the other. Read more
Overall, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue certainly proved to be worth the hype. I was excited for this game, and when I finally started playing the full version, I was in awe of how amazing this game really felt. The Gran Turismo series has always set the standards high, but this game literally blows all other driving sims out of the water. Once you really spend some time with this title, you'll have a hard time going back to Project Gotham Racing or Forza Motorsports. Read more
There are three aspects, really, to look at when it comes to racing game car models in racing games striving for realism. The first is realism, the appearance of the vehicle models in pristine condition. The second is deformation, or whether the cars can take damage and, if so, how realistically they portray that damage. The final aspect is customization, including custom paint jobs, vinyl, accessories and the like. Read more

I was shocked when I realized that I couldn't add a turbo or any other upgrade to any of the cars I purchased in the game. The best I could do was use some "performance points", which were limited in each race. After really being upset with my purchase, I decided to read up on the game a bit. It seems that this is just a 'pre-release' version of the real game that is due out later this year. Read more

I own the japanese version of this (thank god for region free), and this is the true definition of a realistic racer, no damage model in prologue but polyphonic assure us it will be there for the final game. Graphics are top draw, sounds amazing, plays smooth as anything with 16 cars on the track, online multiplayer is great too, and the additional features make this the racer of the year. Read more
