List All 4 PricesIf you're into boxing you're going to love Fight Night Round 4. The physics-based fighting is simply brilliant, the career mode will last you an age and the online functionality is solid. Read more
Fight Night Round 4 has evolved positively compared to its predecessor. The controls feel very intuitive, the game seems less scripted, the AI made big improvements and the gameplay is very much ok. I doubt the game will appeal to more people than UFC 2009 Undisputed but this is of course also due to the small market of boxing fans. However, if you're looking for a pure boxing title where realism and depth are central then this is your game. Read more
But as we said earlier, the reason why we chose to focus on the negatives is because the positives are so good and anything that breaks that up feels ten times worse than it probably is. Fight Night Round 4 is a must for any sports enthusiast. The graphics are phenomenal, the soundtrack works perfectly, the in-game commentary is relaxed and realistic and the longevity and value-for-money charts are through the roof thanks to the myriad of boxers, weight classes and of... EA Sport\’s boxer gives a good punch for the money. Friday Night Fight Round 3 was the best Boxing game ever released on any videogame console. The graphics were unbelievable, the gameplay was engaging and the presentation was just perfect. Rarely do people go out and buy a new console just for a sports game, but that is exactly what that game did a few years ago. The title was one of the few sports games to go platinum as well. Fight Night Round 4 has come to the PS3 and Xbox 360 having switched development teams and made a few extra trips to the training room. With so much retooling and new hands at the helm, gamers are bound to ask whether EA's latest entry in the Fight Night franchise delivers a solid punch that will make them rethink returning to the ring, or whether it's just an aging pugilist blowing through lightweights. When Fight Night Round 3 released in December of ’06 for the PS3, the graphics were almost lifelike. I actually had friends walk in when I was playing and they thought it was an actual fight (for a few seconds anyway). The game play was a little stiff, and the wall between the fighters seemed a bit corny, but it was still the greatest boxing game I had ever played, and I continued to play it until EA released it’s Fight Night Round 4 demo. EA Sports’ Fight Night Round 3 was one the most popular sports game ever to hit shelves (and not just for the easy achievements). The team behind the game managed to create a fun and realistic boxing simulation that was beautifully presented. As hard as it is to believe, EA has managed to top their previous outing in every way with this year’s iteration of the venerable series, Fight Night Round 4 . Read more
As a boxing fan Fight Night Round 4 delivers in all the areas that I was looking for it to improve on. It exceeds Fight Night Round 3 graphically by so much that it’s amazing to think how beautiful everyone thought Round 3 was in 2006. The fluid total punch control takes some getting used to, but turns the game into a more clear simulation of the sweet science instead of just a button masher, and the various modes add depth and value to the game making it not just a... I really liked this game because of the legacy mode. Its fun to play and it gets more challenging as you go along. The settings are really easy to operate but the reason why i wouldnt give the game a full 5 star is because there are lock players in the game. And I dont really know how to unlock them. The trophies are great and also sometimes challenging. Read more
Overall, I believe that EA has released a fantastic product. The game truly shines in the ring where it matters most. Your taste on the soundtrack is heavily dependent on whether or not you?re into today?s concept of rap music, so be forewarned that you can potentially hate the music. Legacy mode has a lot of potential, but there are just some aspects that are relatively hollow. Either way, it shouldn?t stop boxing fans from taking a chance at it. Read more
the controls in this game are awful, trying to accurately throw a punch with the right thumbstick/button combinations is downright impossible. the controller options do not remedy the problem at all. EA has been totally letting me down lately first this, then NFS shift, I think this will be the last EA game I buy until they get their stuff back together..FN round 3=fail...NFS Shift=Epic fail Read more
Let's get ready to rumble. Introduction This is a boxing simulation game that I bought to play on my PS3 console a few months ago. I have grown to like this game because it provides me with an engaging and realistic way of playing boxing. I think that this game is excellent. Game Modes --Legacy Mode/Career Mode-- You can create a boxer or you can choose an existing 'known' boxer. From here, you can begin the career mode. Read more
The game itself has several modes of play. The first one that should be mentioned is the career mode. When starting the mode, you can choose to create your own boxer by moulding their face etc. or you can choose to use an already made boxer. No matter which you choose, you’ll start out at the bottom of the ladder and with rather poor statistics. During the first few matches, you’ll be in an amateurs tournament unless you lose the first fight. Read more

good boxing game but I prefered round 3 to this, the punches were meatier, accurate to boxing more of a sim than the others, one player is poor but multiplayer is great. Read more
