Though it can be difficult to truly master the skills of turntablism, once you get the hang of it, DJ Hero can be addictive. Read more

DJ Hero is new, and therefore scary for many customers. That’s understandable. I’ve played it for the last week on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, and I can say without a doubt that like Guitar Hero, it has an appeal to it that cannot be denied. Gameplay is there, the soundtrack is there, and the pieces fall together well. Read more

It may still be finding its feet in the world, and it certainly has room to improve, but for a first effort it's managed to do almost everything right. Read more

DJ Hero includes the option to play with a friend either on or offline as well as double up with a Guitar Hero guitar for a DJ jammer session. At the end of the day DJ Hero is all about you and your gear, riling up the crowd without missing your beats that cuts the music back and turns the room near silent. The music must go on, and the more you sample, the more you will want to keep playing to hear that wild mix of tunes comes next. Read more

    • Solid, responsive and accommodating controller, Great tunes that outshine all other music games, Challenging on hard and expert level
    • Crossfade too hard to hit dead center, Visuals are just OK, Scoring could be more elaborate than stars

The array of plastic peripherals needed for Guitar Hero or Rock Band is already confusing enough. Music game-makers have wisely avoided tossing new instruments into the fray, despite repeated requests from dedicated fans (hello, keytar!). Read more

    • The best soundtrack in a music game yet, You get to play as Daft Punk in their virtual spaceship, At its best, you honestly feel like an amateur DJ
    • Coming to grips with the touchy crossfader, Interface does a poor job informing players of mistakes, Tacked on integration with Guitar Hero

I owned 3 DJ Hero turntables (party bundle and this renegade bundle). I love DJ Hero games, but sadly activision decided to abandon this franchise. There wont be a follow up tittle (after DJ Hero 2). So like I said on my tittle, its a really nice collectible but in the same time, its also a waste product. Buy this only if you have money to burn, otherwise just stick with the normal DJ hero bundle. Read more

I remember seeing the adverts and trailers for this game thinking 'WOW!'. Alas these high expectations were never matched by the end product. I got this as an Xmas present in '09, and I remember playing it for the morning, then thinking 'What a load of crap!'. Playing it recently I can see why I was and still am frustrated with the game. It had so much potential but never realised it, and as a result, the franchise is now dead! Read more

    • -The tech is there, just not properly implemented, quite a good soundtrack
    • -Playing the game gets tedious after a while, no ability to create character
