Al in all isn't a bad game and will probably appeal to both the Mortal Kombat and the DC Universe fans. The story mode completely misses the ball but luckily the online mode manages to heighten the score a bit. If you're still in doubt I would surely suggest renting it before you buy but if you're not a real fan you can just as well let this one laying on store shelves. Read more

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe takes a number of steps in the right direction. It is by far the most fun I have had with an MK game since Mortal Kombat 3 . It still has a way to go if it wants to compete with the top tier, but it provides a fun time by coupling a few unseen fighting styles with familiar characters. Read more
In 1992, from the dimly lit, cacophonous bowels of the local video arcade beckoned the rumbling monster of Mortal Kombat. Patrons crowded around the thunderous machine for a better look, responding with cheers and sympathetic groans to the action on screen. Fast forwarding through 16 years, Mortal Kombat moved from the arcade to the console with generally good results. But today, Mortal Kombat vs. Read more
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe isn’t the fighting title that will make gamers drop whatever they are playing in order to pick up and play this title, but it certainly does pack more of a punch than most titles. Though plagued with a few issues due to the Unreal Engine, the game still boasts solid visuals, an interesting story and diverse roster of fighter. Read more
Midway wanted some super-heroes. The Capcom characters have already faced off against the heroes of the Marvel Universe, now its the turn of the Mortal Kombat guys, and they get the heroes that started it all - the inhabitants of the DC Universe. That's right, it's all-out bloody carnage as the likes of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman square up against legendary, seasoned fighters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Sonya Blade. Read more
Mortal Kombat birthed one of the only video game movies I’ve ever enjoyed. I’m not sure if that says anything about my tastes, but the gratuitous mo-cap fest of the 90’s was somehow turned into an enjoyable feature film that stirred the hearts of young boys everywhere. Along with Mortal Kombat 3 for the SNES, it was the last thing I truly enjoyed from the franchise. When did Mortal Kombat start to misstep? Read more
One final, important addition to the action here is the rage meter, which fills up as you take damage or are blocked by your opponent. Your build-up of rage can be used for one of two things. If the meter is halfway full or more, you can spend one full segment of it on a combo breaker, immediately putting a stop to the flurry of attacks your opponent is unleashing. Read more
A solid update of the classic MK series, made relevant by the introduction of a DC roster, spot-on fighters and accessible gameplay. Not original, but tremendous fun. Read more
Overall a fun game but there are a few issues that keep it from being really great. My first complaint is that you can only play story mode once. If you ever want to play it again you have to wipe out all your game data and start over. Second, when you beat each story mode it is supposed to unlock characters and make them playable. Mine never allowed the new characters to be used. Read more
