At the end of the day, Afrika looks to be a promising safari simulation game and a spiritual successor to the Nintendo 64 classic Pokémon Snap . Though it remains to be seen whether or not Afrika will be released in the west, judging by how well the game did in Japan, it would be a pretty big mistake not to release it here. Afrika is not only the best looking game I have ever played, but it’s the best game I’ve played for the PS3 all year. Yes I said it. The combination of jaw dropping visuals, life-like animals, one of the best classical scores I’ve ever heard in a video game and the overall experience had me import the original months ago.
