Summary: Another masterpiece by Hideo Kojima? Well no, He has a knack for playing a hit and miss game with the gamers. This game would have been better suited for being a tagalong game with Metal Gear Solid 3. It just didnt live up to the gripping story of the first one, or the gameplay. Although it did capture some nice epicity with the anime style cut scenes. Overall this game is good for at least one rental, but don't expect it to awe you with much. I give it a 2.5 out of 5.
Summary: this game sucks. if you love this game, and can't understand me, let me spell it out for you. this game S-UC-K-S. the action is not that fast-paced for me, the cotrols are ok, the camera is anoying at times, and the grphics are just average. i rather play armored core 3 than this crap. you're a little puzzy b**** boy who can defeat all the eney all by himself. that's horse$h!t. this game sucks and that's that. thank god part 2 is way better and cooler.
Summary: I do not beileve that Hideo Kojima could actually mess up this bad. When a sequel to a game is this bad, This might mean Hideo Kojima Is losing his touch. Of course the Metal Gear Solid series is a Emaculant work of art. The Anime touch isn't really what it should be. It could be done with much more Finnese on Hideo Kojima's Part.
Summary: This could have been a great game if only it were more o a challenge and way, way longer. The game has great graphics and very good controls but that doesn't make up for the down sides. the cut scenes look horrible and the voice acting is pure crap. The best thing about this game is the MGS2 Demo and the Demo's not worth $50.00 so don't buy it because of the demo. If you don't have lots of free time or you'r new at games then you will like this game.
Summary: IF YOUR GOING TO BUY OR RENT THIS GAME ONLY DO IT FOR THE METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY DEMO. BUT YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO DO THAT BECAUSE THE NEW METAL GEAR SOLID GAME IS OUT, AND THAT ON THE OTHER HAND IS A MUST BUY GAME.
Summary: I got this game thinking it was gonna be decent (at least). Every review I looked at had at least 4 stars. I think this game is way too repetitive and is only trying to show off its superb graphics, just as a launch game. It doesn't just have a dragging story line, but has an unspeakable pathetic endind- I would comment on how great the MGS2 demo but my copy of ZOE came an entirely different demo (OPMS demo1). If your buying this game , think again...
If you want a Japanese cartoon then search the DVD section

Summary: Yes the demo of metal Gear Solid is good but don't expect much from Zone of the Enders. OK, I'm too old to play video games, but I can't see the attraction of this game. It consists of a load of overly long japanese cartoon sequences with a dull story line interrupted by some very tedious fights with one of only two types of enemies. The fights are easy (R2 button and fire seems to see off most attacks) and the plot is pathetic.
Summary: The ailing PS2 really needs quality titles to kick start it. ZOE appeared to be just such a title. I loved many things about this game too. I had been waiting 6 months for it. Hideo Kojima producing a Robotech-inspired shooter for the PS2? It sounded perfect. The graphics and sound are very good, the gameplay is fantastic. However, I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer and I finished this game in just under 3 hours - and that's why I returned it.
