Summary: Zone of the Enders is truly a well hidden gem. Hideo Kojima and Konami made one of the smartest marketing campaigns with this title, which boosted the sales of this game through the roof! They basically said, "Check out this cool looking game that mostg people don't know about, and you will hopefully like it. Oh, and theres a playable demo of MGS2 included." I had no idea what to expect from this game.
Excerpt: If I had the inclination, I could stitch together amazing similarities between Zone of the Enders: the Fist of Mars and Total Recall. Both take place mostly on Mars (Total Recall features a lot of people getting blown apart on Earth, but The Fist of Mars features a ship traveling to the planet from Earth being blown apart in the opening sequence - COINCIDENCE???) The plots of both detail attempts by Martian underground movements to free the planet.
Summary: Zone of the Enders is the first game to be produced by, closely associated with Video Game Designer Hideo Kojima, Creator of the Metal Gear Solid Games. This game is not only rare, but it is Visually Stunning. The Graphics are standard, but smooth and clean, nothing too complex but appealing to the eye. The Environment is nice to look at, and that can distract you from the action. Which brings me to the Gameplay.
Summary: Another masterpiece by Hideo Kojima? Well no, He has a knack for playing a hit and miss game with the gamers. This game would have been better suited for being a tagalong game with Metal Gear Solid 3. It just didnt live up to the gripping story of the first one, or the gameplay. Although it did capture some nice epicity with the anime style cut scenes. Overall this game is good for at least one rental, but don't expect it to awe you with much. I give it a 2.5 out of 5.
Summary: this game sucks. if you love this game, and can't understand me, let me spell it out for you. this game S-UC-K-S. the action is not that fast-paced for me, the cotrols are ok, the camera is anoying at times, and the grphics are just average. i rather play armored core 3 than this crap. you're a little puzzy b**** boy who can defeat all the eney all by himself. that's horse$h!t. this game sucks and that's that. thank god part 2 is way better and cooler.
Summary: This game was cool, no doubt about it. It may have been short but it was very memorable. I think Hideo Kojima was giving an example for things to come. All though people give this game low scores because of this games shortness, don't forget big things come in little packages.
Summary: I do not beileve that Hideo Kojima could actually mess up this bad. When a sequel to a game is this bad, This might mean Hideo Kojima Is losing his touch. Of course the Metal Gear Solid series is a Emaculant work of art. The Anime touch isn't really what it should be. It could be done with much more Finnese on Hideo Kojima's Part.
