Summary: I'd really give it more like a 3.5 or 3.75 rating and not a 3 or 4. Overall, the game is good. Personally, I really like it. It's a rather unique kind of game, and it meshes RPG, sandboxing, adventure, and 3D fighting/beat-em-up elements rather well, and even adds a dash of shooting in a mission.
Summary: I was hoping for more out of Yakuza. This game is not a Grand Theft Auto clone and that's a good thing. In Yakuza, you play a newly released con who used to work for the Yakuza. Now you're trying to find 10,000,000 yen that disappeared along with an old friend.
Excerpt: Familiarity is definitely no bad thing for this excellent second entry to SEGA’s Yakuza series, as the return of a comprehensive combat system, a superb central character and a wealth of engaging missions outweigh its ugly presentation and patchy translation.
Pros: Great combat, fine story, positive new additions, Kazuma Kiriyu
Cons: Dated presentation, poor translation and sound quality
