Summary: I am a fan of the series and I personally think its a huge improvement over the first one mainly because there is more to do and it is really challenging especially with all of the side quests to do and the witty dialogue when hitting on a hostess girl in the game
Summary: The Yakuza 2 video game is one the best games i've ever played. This game beats most of the PS2 games i've ever played. From the storyline and plots to the fighting control system this game will keep you entertained for hours. You'll hate to turn off the game because you'll want to keep playing to see what happens next. Not only that but the side missions and host bars and everything you liked about the first Yakuza game is amplified and made better.
Summary: I loved playing this game. Great plot, amazing story detail, awesome graphics, many things to do! Great fighting opportunity and full of upgrades, weapons, countless number of items. You can buy, sell, eat, visit clubs, meet people, learn fighting techniques, participate in tournaments etc. This game has it all! Explore the whole city, get involved in side missions, take a bite of those great story missions. If You like FREE ROAM games this one is for you! GTA fans?
Summary: This series has one of the best stories, next to Final Fantasy. Yakuza was not highly publicized which is a shame cause everyone that plays it loves it and then moves on to Yakuza 2 & 3. It is an RPG that thinks is a beat-up fighter game with tons of great cutscreens. Game takes about 15-20 hours to beat and you won't want to put it down.
Summary: After playing the first version of the game, i thought maybe Kazuma Kiryu (main character) would have changed his outfit. But apparently everyone in Tokyo has one set of clothes to wear. Anyway, the game takes place a year after the first Yakuza. Kiryu has left the clan to live normally as Hakura's gaurdian. Until Terada, the current chairmain of the Tojo needs his help to prevent a war between rival clans.
Summary: The fighting system, though still quirky, is far more flexible when fighting multiple opponents than in the first installment. His "quick" punches are also actually quick for a martial artist instead of quick for a beginner, making it in that regard a bit more realistic. Heats are far more brutal, and the inclusion of a completion list in the game helps when trying to unlock everything the game has to offer.
