Summary: XIII is based off a french comic book (Graphic novel) about a assassination of the president,a man washing up on a beach with no memory and a gunshot wound, and a mysterious conspiracy. Gameplay. The game is very fun. The shooting mechanics are great. Including some great stealth sequences. And a few high action moments, like in one level your swinging your grappling hook at several hooks onto platforms jutting out of the cliffs. If you fall, it'll be to your death.
Summary: This game made me really get into first person shooters. I love the storyline and the cell shaded graphics. There was a good supply of hardcore & stealth based weapons to choose from. The story reminded me of "Bourne Identity." There was enough levels in this game to make me feel like my $5 were well spent. This game opened my mind to play MOH:Frontline. I know I am behind on games, but I am having a lot of fun trying to play catch up!
Conspiracy Thriller Comic Turned Into a Video Game!
Big Boss Games, Amazon

Summary: Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: LEG If you've read any of my other reviews, you will know that I'm a huge fan of First Person Shooter type games or FPS. That being the fact, I've played many dozens of FPS type games on various platforms. In order for an FPS type game to get a perfect score, it has to excel on numerous fronts. It needs to have decent graphics, tons of different weapons, numerous unique and non-repetitive levels, smart enemy A.I.
Summary: I rented this game once from a creap family-owned game shop, and the only reason I did was because of the 'graphic novel' style of the game. After playing it, though, I was hooked. I'm used to playing more fantasy games, like Final Fantasy and Chaos Legion, but this is one game I love. I then bought it on clearance at my local video/game store, and now I'm fairly far in the game.
Summary: I bought this game for my brother for christmas. He really likes it, and it seems to me I could get into it as well. However, there is a problem, but only because of the FPS (mainly). I have motion sickness sometimes, and when I was watching my brother play this, after ten minutes, I felt like I was going to throw up, and I had to go lie down. Ive played FPS's myself, and when im in control, that doesnt usually happen.
Summary: this is not a review it's a comment, the others that rated this game say thay liked it a lot but, gave it zero stars... just thought i should say something about that, so you should know that more stars is better. i just got this game and love it i haven't enjoyed a FPS on PS2 in a long time (no Mouse). I'm giving it 5 stars cuz its dam good and to counter what was probably unintentional zeros by the other posts. as far as lack of multi player options...
Summary: I think this is a medicore attempt at an FPS. I have played A LOT better shooters in my time such as Goldeneye and the great and never soon to be beat Perfect Dark and this release doesnt hold a candle to either of those giants. This is a good game it just is missing a lot of features in the multiplayer section and not to mention this game is very difficult to beat, so hard at times that it takes away from the fun.
Summary: I absolutely loved this game. I'm playing it again for the second time. Whoever said this game is too hard hasn't been playing shooter games very long. The difficulty setting is just right. The controls are easy, i.e., I don't have to take a deep breath every time I need to climb down a ladder in fear that I will fall to my death. The graphics are sweet! I couldn't get enough of the closeups when I shoot a bad guy in the head with a bolt.
Summary: On about the 3rd level you have to sneak up on and (silently) kill about 20 guards without letting them hit the alarm before they are dead. If any other gards see you or a dead guard they will ring the alarm. This pretty much requires that you shoot all head shots with the dart gun and have perfect timing, miss once, just once and you go right back to square one. It's frustrating.
