Summary: I was a huge fan of X-Men Legends (XML) and so had lofty expectations for X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse (XML2). Well, I'm pleased to report that XML2, as the X-Men often do, blows the roof off!!! The enjoyable action-packed, mutant-powered gameplay and simple controls from XML remain.
Summary: A staple in any gamers collection especially if they are a fan of classic X-Men characters. Many more features than the first Legends game that actually enhances playability without taking away any of the charm. Plus you actually get to change the characters outfits to the original TV series.
Summary: Starts off quite well, and good fun, but soon gets repetitive. Each level is just like the last, and there aren't really any puzzles to solve. It's just fairly obvious stuff, shoot the baddies and collect the prizes. Again and again. I didn't get round to finishing it because I got bored.
Summary: This is a fantastic game. I am really glad I bought it. X-Men Legends II is much improved upon the first X-Men Legends, both in terms of gameplay, story, graphics and the amount of fun I had playing it. Buy it, it's well worth it.
Summary: If you like Xmen comics this game is definitely worth getting. If you're just into the films you'll definitely be confused but might still enjoy it, especially since it's got very nicely done cut scenes. The gameplay system is quite well thought through but some of the level design is atrocious.
