Summary: I had a scratched copy of this edition of PES so I had to get my hands on it again. I'm sure most of you know that in 2000-07 PES owned FIFA by a wide margin. I have so many cool memories with this game and every now and then I play it against my older friends that never liked what happened to the newer PES and FIFA's. Enjoy!
Summary: This game is about football you choose your country and the weather and the stadium. It is a nice game but it isnot the best game of football. But if you have playstation and you like football is perfect.
Summary: This game is great for people who understand and play soccer, as this game really requires knowledge of the game. To help, the game does provide the player with useful tutorials. Being a amateur of the sport, this game was either too easy or hard. The game offers one to five star difficulty ratings. On one and two stars, I stood a chance against the computer, I even scored some goals. The problem with this is that the computer never even got off any shots.
Summary: I don't know what half of you "wankers" are talking about. Sure the physics engine and ball play might be "realistic" but I would rather not sacrifice enjoyment for such "realism". Honestly, it seems like the game is working against the human player rather than creating a fun and engaging experience for him.
Summary: I'm using for about 3 weeks, and it's a really good game, buy it. However it could be much better if it offered more international teams, like Ghana, and the possibility to lengthen 2 players match times. It should also offer flexible tournment setting for 2 players to save on the memory card. I don't think any game offers these desired features so go for this. Graphics are clear(could be better) and commentary is available in many languages.
Summary: \Konami excels (again) with Winning Eleven 9 and its slightly improved graphics (PS2 got to its limits, we can't ask for more. But PS3 is coming!), awesome controls and big variety of moves. Now we all know which the big problem with Winning Eleven is; the lack of licenses that don't allow them to have the name of certain players and teams. Unfortunately EA makes so much money from the Madden and NBA Live series that it makes them have the main contracts with FIFA.
