Still a great game

Summary: I've been exploring some old PS2 racing games lately and this was one I picked up a few weeks ago. If you don't follow rally racing, then you need to understand that this is purely racing against the clock on linear courses. You don't see other cars and you're just trying to go as fast as possible and get the best time. Each rally is several stages (4-5 in this game, many more in real life) and the driver with the lowest overall time wins that rally.
Summary: I thought that it was a little strange that the game was opened, especially when the listing said the game was NEW. There was a note inside the package that said it was opened to make sure the game works. Just an FYI ... If the purchaser thinks he/she is buying something NEW, he/she would probably prefer to be the first to open his/her game.
Summary: I got this game since at the time dirt was not out for the ps3 yet and it's not a bad game, The graphics are not bad they look really good for a ps2 game & the in game play is good, If you looking for a really in depth rally game then i think this is not the game for you it's way to simple it's the kind of game you just put in to race and have fun with wean you don't have a lot of time on your hands to play a real simulation game over all buy this game it's simple and...
Summary: WRC is the best rally game I have played. The video segments are cool. There are many rallies, 5 stages pre rally. Some rallies are tough some aren't so, but the tracks can be a lot more realistic than in most games. In some places the track is barely wider than the car, unlike many other games. Physics are fair. Crash physics are pretty bad and can be a little frustrating when you try to save the car when on two wheels.
Summary: This game is ok. I was really excited to get it, but then i played it...this game takes no real skill. Gran tourismo 3 u needed skill this, u can fly through it. Every race i run im 30 seconds ahead and theres no competition. damage is minimal and when u get damage u can feel the control of the car slipping.
Summary: As a huge fan of rally games, I had to add this to my library. This game offers nice graphics, great control, and a HUGE amount of tracks. There are at least 18 or more countries to race through, and for a rally game that is a lot. The best part about this game is how fast it runs. Ive never played a rally game that you could drive so fast in (an fly off the side of a cliff if your not careful).
Summary: I got the game a week ago and haven't been able to take it out yet. It does lack some elements, but the tracks are great and challenging, great view changes and replay's, you get all the 2002 WRC cars and drivers (less Mcrae/Grist) great intro video's. Downside is long loading time between stages, a little to be left desired as far as graphics, more tuning options would be nice and some type of reward or points systems to fix and/or upgrade the car like(GT3).
Summary: I've been an avid fan of the WRC for years (even went out and bought a Subaru WRX car) and this game is a blast. It's so true to the TV show that, if you're a fan, you should get it just for that. Graphics are very good, the replay mode with multiple views is just like TV, and gameplay is decent.
Summary: I am a diehard fan of the world rally championship and I must therefore love this game. I have gt3 but however i find the rally stages in it to be painful incomplete. If you do not like rallying and do not know how to set up a car for extreme racing off road i do not recommed this game for you.
FAR Better than Rally Events in the Gran Turismo Series

Summary: When I was living in Belgium in 1990-1991, I saw rally racing for the first time on Eurosport, and I just could not understand the appeal. It was not until Gran Turismo 2 - and more recently Gran Turismo 3 - that I really began to have an appreciation for rally racing. I have also begun watching Speed Channel's coverage of the World Rally Championship whenever I can, both for the action itself and to listen to the various languages.
